The Kempton of Hermitage

The Kempton of Hermitage is absolutely, hands down, the best facility for supporting your loved one when they can no longer care for themselves. They provided an exceptional level of compassion, professionalism, and comfort to my stepmother, who was bedridden and on hospice. From the very first interview, through the ease of move-in, clear billing, and her day-to-day care, every step of the process was handled with kindness and attention to detail. It was incredibly reassuring to know that we were supported during such a difficult and emotional time. The staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure her needs were met, and they always communicated with us openly and respectfully. Their dedication brought us peace of mind when we needed it most. I am truly grateful for the care they provided, and I would highly recommend The Kempton of Hermitage to any family seeking a trustworthy, compassionate assisted-living community for their loved one.

Kempton of Hermitage has been a blessing to our family. When our LO needed more assistance than we could provide in our home, we looked at numerous facilities in Davidson and Wilson counties. Kempton stood out from the moment we walked through the door. The building is very clean, well maintained and the apartments are updated and comfortable. The facility's Executive Director, the Director of Nursing and the nursing staff are courteous and compassionate with the resident's comfort and safety as their main priority. Kempton also has an outstanding Activities Director that offers a wide variety of activities to keep the residents engaged and socialized. The care team is tremendous and takes great care of the residents. The dietary staff prepares nutritious meals and varies the menu to accommodate resident's different preferences. Overall, the facility is well run and puts their residents first.

Kempton is a very well run organization and caring atmosphere💗 Everyone we met at the Memory Care Unit for my Aunt was friendly and helpful. Whatever you are doing— keep up the tremendous work. Please let your staff know the positive impact of what they do. You’ve truly been a blessing to our family during a difficult chapter.

My LO was accepted here a few months ago into the memory care side of this facility. First, I am grateful for his acceptance, even though it was not a pleasant experience. His level of care was not met there, FTD Frontotemporal dementia is a very challenging disease to manage. The staff was just not trained to the level of care he needed, therefore mistakes were made, communication was a huge problem, staff (not all) had bad attitudes and was very rude and dismissive. The lack of cleanliness was noticeable, there were issues with housekeeping. Management was very difficult to the point where I had to hire an advocate to communicate for me. Also, I hired sitters 24/7 to care adequately for my LO, because I didn't trust the staff or management. I was able to finally transfer him out of Kempton to NHC CoolSprings where the care, attention, professionalism, cleanliness, and happy staff took great care of him and me!!
