I can’t say enough positive things about our family’s experience at The Hacienda. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care. The staff went out of their way to make sure my mother felt at home, and their attentiveness gave us immense peace of mind. The facility itself is beautifully maintained—clean, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed for seniors. The rooms are comfortable and bright, with plenty of natural light and space for personal touches. The common areas are cozy and encourage social interaction, which has done wonders for my mother’s mood and energy. One of the biggest highlights has been the staff. Every nurse, aide, and team member we’ve encountered has been compassionate, patient, and respectful. They treat residents like family, and it truly shows. The level of communication has also been outstanding—they keep us updated regularly and are always responsive to our questions and concerns. There are multiple high end restaurants on site. Meals are well-balanced and tailored to dietary needs, and there are a variety of engaging activities each day. Choosing assisted living is never an easy decision, but The Hacienda made the transition smooth and reassuring. We just had a wonderful overview of the Hacienda at Mission San Luis Rey. The staff seems fantastic and the facility only 1 year old and in great condition. The decor and architecture are classic and beautiful as befits the historic setting. I look forward to finding out more about this lovely community. Pam, Nenette and Michael are each very impressive as Directors. I will definitely recommend this community and hope to live here one day myself.

I attended a “Brown Bag Medication” management presentation at The Hacienda Mission San Luis Rey Senior Independent Living Center. Alyson Leopold was the presenter. It was very informative and interesting. The Hacienda facility is absolutely beautiful, apparently built about 2 years ago. Hoping to be able to get an actual tour of this facility at some point. They also offer Assisted Living and Memory Care… if any of those type of extensive services are needed.
