The Glades at ChampionsGate

My mother has been living here for a few years. The place is VERY nice. They renovated it recently, so it is bright and pleasant and the staff are helpful and friendly. My mom has a lovely studio apartment. There are activities all day, every day. The location is great and the grounds are lovely. Highly recommend!

This place is absolutely AMAZING! The staff is attentive and kind. We have enjoyed getting to the team. It has been hard to find a community that has really good food and fun activities. It seems so many communities miss the mark on those two things but not this community. They hit it out of the park. The staff is fun and engaging with residents. Overall a beautiful and great place to call home. I highly recommend it. We have searched high and low for the best community for my mother in law and we found it here.

My husband and I enjoy living at The Glades retirement community very much. We love our spacious one-bedroom apartment and are amazed at how much large furniture fits beautifully inside. Our compact but complete kitchen with refrigerator, dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave oven, and stove (with self-cleaning oven) is tucked conveniently to one side of the apartment therefore allowing for maximum living space in the great room. Hidden nicely in a discreet closet is a stackable washer and dryer which was a big selling point in our decision to live here. Two meals (choice of breakfast, lunch, dinner) are included and have completely eliminated our need to grocery shop. Each day we are greeted with a calendar full of activities. The gym is complete, and the pool is always refreshing. Social hour occurs every day at 3:00. Twice a week we are treated to live entertainment. The staff at The Glades continually impress us with their warmth and professionalism. They never fail to exceed our expectations. Most of all we treasure the friends we have made since we arrived over a year ago. They make every day brighter.

I can truly say that The Glades at Champions Gate has been a blessing for my grandparents. It’s not just the beautiful building or amenities it’s the people that make this place special. From the very top, Dan, the Executive Director, sets the tone. You can tell he cares deeply about both the residents and his team. He’s involved, approachable, and truly leads with heart. Nadia, the Business Director, is incredibly professional and kind. She always handles things with grace and makes sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Carmen in Sales is an absolute gem. No matter what questions I have big or small she’s there with answers, patience, and a smile. Her dedication is unmatched, and she made the whole process feel easy and welcoming from the start. The Wellness Director deserves so much recognition. She goes above and beyond every single day to ensure the residents are not just cared for, but safe, comfortable, and truly seen. Her compassion and dedication shine through in everything she does. Trina, the Activities Director, along with the amazing activities coordinators, truly put in their all to keep the residents smiling, engaged, and enjoying life. It’s not just “keeping busy” they put love and creativity into every event and interaction. And Mimi at the front desk what a joy she is! Always warm, welcoming, and helpful. She brings a bright energy to the front of the building, and it doesn’t go unnoticed. Honestly, I could go on and on. There are so many more people in that building doing incredible work. It’s clear that the team at The Glades loves what they do. It’s not just a job to them it’s a calling. And that care, that passion, shows in every hallway, every interaction, every detail. Thank you to the entire team for creating a place where my grandparents not only live but thrive.
