The Fountains at RiverVue

I honestly can’t say enough good things about The Fountains at RiverVue. My 93-year-old mom moved in last summer, and from the very beginning, she felt genuinely welcomed. It just has that kind of warm, friendly atmosphere. What really stands out is the staff. So many of them have been there a long time, which says a lot. You can tell they truly care. Over and over, we saw people go out of their way to treat my mom with kindness, respect, and real dignity, and that meant everything to us. There’s also always something going on - activities every day that are actually interesting and fun, not just filler. My mom also loved sitting out on the patio in the summer, reading her newspaper and chatting with other residents. It just feels like a community in the best sense of the word. Looking back, my only regret is that she didn’t move there sooner. It was such a positive change from the increasing isolation she was starting to feel at home 'aging in place'. Very grateful for this place and the people in it.

One of the reasons we chose the Fountains for my mother in law was because the cost was reasonable and we were paying for it. Usually when you pay less you get less, but that was not the case with the Fountains. The staff is exceptional. Many of them are long time employees, which is not typical at assisted living facilities. There is always an activity for the residents and my mother in law loved the food. The facility is over 20 years old and not lavish. However, they made major updates and redecorated while my mother in law was there. The setting is quiet, with many beautiful views. My mother in law loved to sit outside on the front patio in the warm weather and talk and take in the scenery. The facility was purchased by Monarch last, and I was bracing for them to ruin things, but that has not been the case. We are thankful we found the Fountains.

As a senior care professional I can say with confidence that The Fountains at RiverView is an exceptional assisted living community that truly understands the needs of its residents and their families. The staff is not only professional but also compassionate, creating a warm and welcoming environment. The community is beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully designed to promote comfort and engagement for seniors. Arielle, Christine, Katrina, Maureen are all so incredibly talented, dedicated and supportive to their families. I’ve had the pleasure of interacting with the team as a Dementia Care Practitioner and have witnessed their commitment to providing high-quality care and personalized attention. The variety of activities and programs offered ensures residents stay active and connected, contributing to their overall well-being.

The Fountains is such a warm environment. From the moment I walk in, I am greeted with big smiles from Keisha. When speaking to the residents, they all say how loving and warm the staff are. All of the residents love being there. There are so many fun activities. Arielle in resident relations is such an amazing person- she is so passionate about helping the residents. She is so loving and treats all the residents as if they are family. This is an amazing assisted living and I recommend it everyday to people. Thanks for all your hard work!
