The Delaney at Bridgewater

Our Mom has been part of The Delaney of Bridgewater community for the last several years, beginning with Independent Living, then on to Assisted Living, and now finally Memory Care. Although seeing my Mom’s cognitive decline has been difficult, I’m grateful that Belkis and her Staff ensure the residents receive the proper care and attention, and that the environment is welcoming and friendly. Belkis is very responsive to inquires from the family members of residents. The activities that are held for residents, from bus trips to local restaurants for lunch, to inviting local musicians in to perform, ensure that the residents in her care remain engaged.

It took me some time to write this review, not because of hesitation, but because placing a spouse into a Memory Care facility is very different to placing a parent. It is deeply personal, especially when you’ve shared 44 years of life together, so, you are not just choosing a community; you are entrusting someone who is part of your heart! I visited The Delaney of Bridgewater several times before making my decision. I wanted to observe the residents, the environment, and the activities to truly understand what daily life in Memory Care facility would look like. As a spouse, being able to visit 24/7, this openness and flexibility meant everything to me. The facility is beautiful, clean, well-lit, and well maintained with a welcoming atmosphere. In August 2025, we moved my husband into Memory Care, and like any significant life transition, it has taken time for both of us to adjust. Throughout the past six months, Belkis, the Director of Memory Care, has been consistently responsive, compassionate, and reassuring. Every concern I raised was addressed promptly, with thoughtful follow-up that gave me confidence and peace of mind. Equally meaningful has been the team of Memory Care aides, who care for my husband each day with genuine love, dignity, and empathy. Knowing that he is treated with kindness and respect by those supporting him daily has made an immeasurable difference for me. Food was another important consideration, as we are vegetarians. I wanted to be certain my husband’s nutritional needs and preferences would be respected. Belkis and Alex, the Head Chef, took the time to meet with me personally and worked to create a plan tailored specifically for his needs. Choosing a Memory Care facility is never easy, but knowing that my husband is in a place where families are welcomed, care is personalized, and dignity is honored has made this journey far more manageable. I am deeply grateful for the compassion, professionalism, and dedication shown by the entire team at The Delaney of Bridgewater.

I got the opportunity to tour The Delaney at Bridgewater yesterday and it is breathtaking. I work in the senior industry and have seen lots of facilities and have never seen anything like this building. The Independent living is so high end down to every last detail. It is so open and the high ceilings are amazing! The Delaney also has an assisted living and memory unit on site, which gives families the peace of mind that they won't ever have to move again, and can age in place. I have worked with Jenn and Ally, Director of Sales, for many years, and they provide excellent services to make the transition/move in so seamless. I had the opportunity to also meet the rest of their department heads, and was impressed. This facility has a great team, and will make sure it is ran efficiently and provide the service that their residents will expect. Thank you !!

Transitioning my elderly mother to independent living at The Delaney of Bridgewater was one of the smoothest and most reassuring experiences I could have hoped for. From our very first interaction, the process was seamless, and every step was handled with exceptional care and professionalism. The team truly understands the unique needs of seniors and their families, making what could have been a daunting move into a warm and positive journey. The environment at The Delaney is second to none—clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The atmosphere is not only pleasant but also fosters a sense of community and belonging, which is so important for residents. My mother quickly felt at home, and seeing her smile and thrive in her new surroundings has been such a joy. I must give a heartfelt shout-out to Julia, Barbara, and Julianne. Their dedication, warmth, and expertise were evident in every interaction. They went above and beyond to make my mom feel welcome and cared for, and their genuine kindness left a lasting impression on both of us. It’s clear they take immense pride in what they do, and they are truly the heart of this wonderful community. If you’re considering independent living for a loved one, I can’t recommend The Delaney of Bridgewater enough. It’s a place where professionalism meets compassion, and residents are treated with dignity and respect every step of the way.
