My review is not for Crestone itself, it's for Arrow who owns and operates Crestone. So Arrow, read closely. My mother has been a resident since December 2024. I have chosen to keep her there due to the location. Also, knowing moving her would completely confuse and wouldn't be good for her at this point. I have watched MANY good employees come and go, which is so frustrating for those of us who build so many good relationships with staff. You have run so many wonderful people out of there. The turnover is ridiculous. I am way disappointed with the people who have left on their own or those you have chosen to let go. You don't have happy staff members and it shows. My mother is taken care of by the amazing Whitney and Kamryn. Those are just two that I will mention. My extra star in this review is for them, otherwise you would get one star. Start appreciating your employees, Arrow!!! They work hard for these residents and their families. I hope I start seeing some improvement in keeping good people. The lack of appreciation for the people you have working for you is disheartening.

The Orchard has the worst food ever. I wouldn't even let my dog eat this food. The Culinary Director (at Olathe, KS) doesn't can about the residents or staff. He comes with no cooking experience and it definitely shows. He doesn't know how to treat the staff with respect. Shame on upper management for letting this happen! If they really know how bad it really is, I feel very sorry of their own family if this is how they treat them.

Despite multiple meetings and promises of improvement, the care at Crestone Assisted Living remains inconsistent and deeply concerning. I’ve had to personally handle tasks such as laundry, hygiene reminders, and meal monitoring—services we pay for but that are frequently neglected. Staff turnover is high, communication is poor, and leadership is unresponsive. It took withholding rent to get an air conditioner fixed after 8 months. My father went a full week without a clothing change, and spends most days in bed due to a lack of suitable activities. This facility is not delivering the level of care its residents deserve. UPDATE: New executive director and wellness coordinator have greatly improved the level of care and dignity of our family member. Based on my interactions, I am hopeful for the future of The Crestone. Side note- I contacted upper level management of Arrow Senior Living, the company that owns Crestone, as mentioned in their reply to this post. I was given the same run around with no action. While my faith in the facility has been restored, I did not receive any action on my before mentioned concerns. Additionally: Tim Moore below in comments is the regional director, to whom I have complained MANY times with no action. He actually have a 5 star review below and raved about Rhinanon - the ED that had SEVERAL complaints below. While I am not surprised, I am appalled at how low Arrow Senior Living will stoop.

I lived in the area before Crestone was constructed. I wanted to stay in the area. The Sales Director held weekly get togethers prior to my move in. I got to know the people moving in before we moved in. I enjoy my home at Crestone and plan on living all my life in this facility.
