The Courtyards at Mountain View

We have been very pleased with our decision to move our sister into The Courtyards and are encouraged by her increasing comfort with being there. The staff and residents are truly a caring community where people know one another by name and enjoy being together. She likes being able to participate in the many activities offered and has benefitted from the social interaction they provide. The food is very good - varied and plentiful and served with a smile. The staff are patient and attentive to her needs. We appreciate how responsive management is to our communications, since we live in other states and are not often able to visit. We have peace of mind knowing she is happy, safe, and well looked after.

We chose Mountainview for my loved one, and it has truly been a wonderful decision. The food here is consistently good—really good! The meals are well-prepared, flavorful, and there’s always variety, including plenty of fresh options and accommodating special diets without making anyone feel limited. It’s clear the kitchen staff takes pride in what they serve. The activities program is another highlight. They offer a nice mix of engaging options—everything from exercise classes and music sessions to crafts, games, movie nights, and even occasional outings. My family member looks forward to the daily schedule and has made new friends through the group activities. What stands out most, though, is the management. Meghann communicates exceptionally well—clear, responsive, and genuinely approachable. Whether it’s a quick update, addressing a question, or following up on something, she’s always professional, kind, and thorough. It gives our family real peace of mind knowing concerns are handled promptly and openly. Overall, the caring staff, pleasant atmosphere, great food, engaging activities, and strong leadership make Mountainview feel like a warm, well-run community. Highly recommend!

PLEASE READ THIS. 😠😠😞😞 I really do not know where to start with Courtyard at Mountain View. My wife and I were looking for a facility for my father. We took a tour and were happy with everything we saw. They sure do sell you on how beautiful the place is, how many services and activities there are, and the “great” meals served in their dining room. I truly believe they go the extra distance for all tours, but after that, it's a nightmare. The food that is served is absolutely terrible. And I know this because we visited my father and had multiple meals with him that were inedible. The dining hall was so dirty. The carpets in the hall always smelled of urine. The transportation for residents was completely hit or miss. After MULTIPLE phone calls to Meghan that were never returned, we had enough. I gave 30 days' notice, paid the additional month's rent, and moved my father to a new facility. Then, a few months later, my father received a collection notice from “Avante USA” debt collections. PLEASE investigate other facilities before choosing this one.

My dad has been in an Independent unit for about 2 1/2 years and has been extremely happy. He enjoys his routine of meals, cards, bingo games, exercise class, jigsaw puzzles in the library, socializing, and the lunch outings that are offered. Terry does a fantastic job with the events planned, even if he doesn’t always utilize them. I like that they offer church services for several different denominations. Everyone there is extremely nice, welcoming and helpful.
