Country club of La Cholla is an amazing community. I have spent a lot of time visiting there . the staff is so kind and giving . they take excellent care of their residents . The management is very responsive and listens and takes care of problems quickly and with kindness . The residents are so active and happy . The dining program has made strides and the food is delicious . The community is truly “Home “ for those that live there . everyone is always smiling

I have visited this community several times for holiday parties. There is always a feeling of warmth and happiness from the moment that I walk through the front door. The residents and staff are like a big family to one another, which is so refreshing to see. If you are looking for a caring, joy-filled place for yourself or a loved one, look no further than the Country Club of La Cholla!

Laurie was very friendly, informative, kind, generous with her time and thoughtful to invite us to a delicious meal! We appreciated the kindness of Fran- who so graciously opened her casita to allow us to view the model. We loved the concept of the living arrangements from independent living and all the steps that could follow. Beautiful facility, many activities, and experienced how Laurie and all associates treat people with dignity and respect. Would love to live there. Thank you Laurie- you are the best!!

Major lack of communication. Recent bill reflected higher care level with no warning. Complained already about less than optimal care with no response from management. Food dropped off in styrofoam container cold and no one offers to put it in a plate and warm it up. No utensils served with food either. Mother is chair bound and unable to help herself. I certainly hope they give raises to their employees to reflect the higher care that is expected of them. I’ve had to let go of the caregiver I hired privately to help alleviate some of these issues. I’m not bashing any particular caregivers. There are some very friendly and caring people that work there, but they are stretched too thin and cannot provide the care some of these residents are paying for. Be very careful when choosing a place for your parents.
