My father was a resident in memory care at The Chateau at Gardnerville for one year. I couldn't have asked for a more supportive and compassionate environment. The Connections memory care team showed obvious dedication and ceaseless patience, ensuring he lived an engaged and affirming lifestyle right through his final days. When it was time for my Mom to move into Assisted Living, we looked around before selecting the Chateau. She didn't expect to like living outside her "forever home" but she soon expressed her love for the place, the staff, and the residents who became her friends. The offered parties, outings, and events supported her in independence until she needed more help. Then, the team ramped up services when that time arrived. The Chateau consistently wins the Best of Carson Valley for a reason!

The service and staff at the Chateau are top shelf all the way. As we get older our needs change and the people at the Chateau are experts at filling those needs. And while everyone there does their best, Jessica Maidlow has always gone above and beyond to make my moms transition into assisted living as smooth and dignified as possible. Thank you Jessica and everyone at the Chateau that makes my mom’s life the adventure she wants and needs.

I would like to take a moment to thank The Chateau in Gardnerville specifically Jessica M. for the extraordinary care she and they provided to my mom during an incredibly emotional transition from another assisted living facility. They are not all alike! From the spacious, clean apartment to the beautiful grounds and activities, they have exceeded our expectations! Most importantly are the people! It starts from the top with an incredible, transparent and compassionate management staff to the exceptional staff of caregivers, maintenance workers, front desk and dining staff.....every one of them are amazing!! This facility literally changed my moms life and she is functioning at a much higher level due to their attentiveness and care she receives on a daily basis. I am forever grateful that their was a space for my mom here. Every person deserves to live their best life and I finally feel my mom has that. Thank you to the entire team at The Chateau. You are all amazing!!
