Care

Assisted Living

A living option for seniors or individuals who require assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, or medication management while maintaining a level of independence. Assisted living facilities offer personalized care plans and social activities that promote quality of life for their residents.

Independent Living

Designed to help older adults who want to maintain an active and independent lifestyle, these communities offer services and amenities that cater to residents’ needs, while encouraging a sense of community and freedom from the responsibilities of owning a home.

Memory Care

Memory care communities offer specialized care and support for individuals dealing with memory-related conditions, such as Alzheimer’s or dementia. These facilities are equipped with trained staff and offer engaging activities designed to promote well-being while ensuring a safe living environment.

Life Plan/CCRCs

Also referred to as Life Plan Communities, these communities offer a comprehensive continuum of care for residents. CCRCs offer multiple levels of care, allowing seniors to transition between independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing care as their needs change throughout their aging journey.

Skilled Nursing

Skilled nursing and nursing homes are residential facilities that offer medical care and support for individuals that require a higher level of medical attention and assistance. These are staffed by licensed healthcare providers and offer a range of services to ensure the well-being and comfort of residents.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful the staff here is, in particular William Price who has gone above and beyond to be helpful, kind, and a calming presence for me and my family on some stressful days. I hope you will recognize his effort in particular because he's a very special person and the Cardinal is lucky to have him.

All I can say is absolutely stunning- sales representative Allison did an outstanding job of giving me a tour of this beautiful community. It has everything you need - dinning services , personal care, activities, housekeeping. The dinning package is outstanding as all meals are prepared by chefs. I was able to enjoy a lunch with touring and I must say I was blown away by the food presentation , delivery and overall taste. Anyone who resides here will most definitely feel like a queen or king at every meal. You will not be disappointed. The services and location of this community is in central NC - If you are interested in assisted living or independent and looking for an exclusive community please call and ask for Allison- she will not disappoint!

Warning! If you’re looking for a Senior living center please skip this place. You would have a cleaner experience at a redroof. I went to visit a love one in the east tower and I was disgusted by the conditions of this place. My love one has a bit of a hard time walking their dog so I was shocked to see the elevator wasn’t working. Then as we exit to take their dog out I was in disbelief on how many roaches I’ve seen. I decided I wanted to talk to a manager. A man named Brian was pointed out as I approached him he was finishing a conversation with a black woman, they were using obscene language. The professional environment this is not. I told Brian about the roaches and he was very short about my concerns and said verbatim “ what the hell do you want me to do about the roaches on the bottom floor” I decided to walk away from this whole conversation. Instead I’ve contacted the State health department, my local news, and here.

My brother has Alzheimer's, and I find the staff members at the Cardinal take good care of him. I'm sure it's difficult to care for someone who has lost the ability to communicate. I have always found them to be kind and considerate.
