I would like to thank The Bristal at Sayville for making the transition to assisted-living for my family member seamless. Denise and her team work effortlessly to support the family as they navigate through a very challenging time. Lisa is the Wellness director and along with her team have shown compassion and understanding to the needs of both the resident and the family. The friendly and engaging atmosphere in the community and enables the resident to acclimate quickly. Activities are available daily to help new residents become friends. Dining is In an elaborate setting where cuisine is ever changing, the overall facility is immaculate. The maintenance staff is always present, handling any needs that arise for their residence in a timely fashion. The Bristal was the right choice for my loved one. Thank you all.

We’re very happy with the care that our mother has received over the past 10 months at the Bristal of Sayville. Denise was right there to answer all of our questions when we were thinking of the Bristal as our mother’s new home. Lisa, the Wellness Director, an empathetic and experienced individual, has helped us tremendously. The nurses, aides and med techs know our mother and do a fine job of making sure she’s being taken care of. There’s so many people that our mother has gotten very good care from, that we can’t even name them all. The Bristal at Sayville provides a thorough level of care to their residents and their responsiveness and ongoing communication to family members is invaluable. My father currently resides in the assisted living area, and my mother was in the Reflections unit until she passed. During her time there, the nursing and wellness staff were exceptionally attentive and compassionate toward her. The entire team—from the Executive Director, to sales, wellness, housekeeping, food service, etc. — is professional, caring, and highly responsive. Whenever I reach out with a question or need assistance on a matter, I get a prompt answer. The entire staff who I interact with is top notch including Gerri at the front desk. They are incredibly helpful at getting you answers, making sure you get a response whenever you need something, and ensuring your family members are being taken care of.

Moved my 91 year old aunt here from Brooklyn in early October. She has always lived alone and has never lived anywhere else. We thought the transition would be difficult for her, but it wasn't. She is busy with activities every day. She's made plenty of friends, enjoys the staff and speaks highly of the food, especially the liver. Of course nothing is perfect, it's still a business and family should always be involved not only monitoring the financials, but the voice for the residents. Overall, we are very pleased with the Bristal and know that we made the right decision for her.
