The Blake at Hamlin

Our experience with The Blake at Hamlin has been excellent. The food is thoughtfully prepared, delicious, and clearly made with care, which brings so much comfort and enjoyment to residents. Quality dining truly makes a difference in daily life, and The Blake does a wonderful job with this. Fran was especially helpful throughout our visit. She took the time to patiently answer all of our questions and made sure we felt informed and supported every step of the way. Her warmth, professionalism, and knowledge really stood out and made us feel confident in the care and community The Blake provides. We are very impressed with The Blake at Hamlin and highly recommend it to anyone exploring assisted living options.

⭐⭐⭐⭐️⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐️ Our family cannot say enough wonderful things about Frances at The Blake at Hamlin. From the very beginning of the process of moving our grandmother in, she was incredibly sweet, attentive, compassionate, and caring toward our entire family. Making the decision to transition a loved one into a new home can be emotional and overwhelming, but Frances made us feel reassured, supported, and confident every step of the way. She took the time to truly listen to our concerns, answer every question with patience, and make our grandmother feel welcomed and valued. Her kindness and genuine care made such a huge difference during this transition. We have also been beyond impressed with the entire community at The Blake at Hamlin. The staff has been absolutely amazing has been warm, friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The care staff truly goes above and beyond to make the residents feel comfortable, safe, and at home. You can genuinely feel how much they care for each resident, and that compassion gives families so much peace of mind. The food has also exceeded our expectations. The quality of the meals is outstanding, with delicious options and thoughtful preparation that truly makes dining enjoyable for the residents. It is clear that so much effort is put into every aspect of the experience there. Since moving into The Blake at Hamlin, our grandmother and family have been so happy, and we truly could not be more grateful for the positive experience Frances and the entire team have created. Thank you all for making this transition such a comforting and uplifting one for our family!

We visit the Blake regularly and are impressed with the warmth and cleanliness of the facility. The Activity Room is always active thanks to the amazing Jenna Rooker - I wish I could participate in all the fun things she has planned! It is not unusual to see her in a themed look, running around chatting with residents or setting up activities. You can tell she loves her job and the residents. The daily activities are the heart of what makes this feel like home and they are going above and beyond at the Blake!

Had an appointment to tour for my father, got someone to watch the kids and drove a half an hour to the location to be told as I walked in he was rejected. He uses a walker and has newly diagnosed Parkinson’s and they said, “if we were money hungry we would take him, but we aren’t” “he’s a fall risk”and this was after they read his medical records and “sent them up to corporate” before getting my fathers permission or mine to review his files and before ever laying eyes on my father. Every other assisted living facility in town accepted him with open arms. Plus, always bad when the person stinks of tobacco in a health care setting. RNs should know better not to smoke, maybe you shouldn’t smoke in your car or home Kelly.
