We have been very happy with The Avenues. My Mom has made new friends and feels like the entire staff truly loves her. Her health has improved while staying here. The PT Department is fabulous! Christopher, the Activities Director does an amazing job keeping them busy. He plans events, family dinners, activities and outings for the residents, and they all love him! Sending a huge THANK YOU!

I recently attended Gabriella Torres’ live dementia training at Avenues of FB assisted living facility, and it was truly eye-opening. Before this training, I could only imagine what it must feel like to have dementia — the confusion, fear, and frustration. Gabriella’s session made me realize just how unusual and overwhelming that experience can be. Now, after the training, I feel much more confident in recognizing the signs and symptoms of dementia. More importantly, I have a deeper understanding of what residents may be feeling and experiencing. Gabriella’s compassionate and engaging approach made the learning meaningful and personal. I’m very grateful for this experience — it has changed the way I care for and connect with those living with dementia.

I have been coming to the community the last few months due to having a few of their patients on hospice services and the community staff is always welcoming and the community is always clean. The residents are very happy and welcoming. I have been coming to senior living communities for over thirty years and I highly recommend the community! Todd Werthman, AccentCare Hospice.

This facility has two handicap spaces both Saturday and Sunday of this weekend of sept 7. Both spots are filled with caregivers. One has an expired tag from 2023 and the other doesn’t even have a handicap sticker. I saw a group of employees all hanging out out front inside and outside of the vehicles. From 6am to 2 pm sat and Sunday the same two cars. Actual handicap people are forced to park far away because physically fit employees feel entitled to the parking spaces.
