A living option for seniors or individuals who require assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, or medication management while maintaining a level of independence. Assisted living facilities offer personalized care plans and social activities that promote quality of life for their residents.

Memory Care

Memory care communities offer specialized care and support for individuals dealing with memory-related conditions, such as Alzheimer’s or dementia. These facilities are equipped with trained staff and offer engaging activities designed to promote well-being while ensuring a safe living environment.

Respite Care

Respite care is short-term or temporary care. Respite care can be provided in adult day centers, in private homes via home health agencies and in senior living communities, most often assisted living or skilled nursing facilities.

Came into visit today and the first thing I noticed was that one of the Emus hatched! There are still a few more eggs to hatch. The Orchestra from Seabeeeze High School came performed for the resident, they were excellent! This facility provides such great things for the residents!

Finding the right memory care for a loved one can be a challenging feat. But Benton House, now the Addison, stood out as one with compassionate care, supportive environment, and safe and clean ambience. And this was confirmed after we admitted my father with Dementia at the Addison after a lot of ups and downs with home care. The staff there is extremely caring and be rest assured that your loved one will be kept clean and comfortable any given day. Engaging activities, excellent communication, and the staff to resident ratio is what keeps it more manageable for the staff to care for the residents at the memory care center at Addison. It has not been that long since my dad has been admitted, but we are very happy with our experience so far. Only one thing I would recommend or feel more safe is when it comes to my dad’s safety. A safety band or some technology that triggers an alarm when a resident falls would be great to help the nurses have more sets of eyes. But all in all, I highly recommend this place for your loved one if you are considering.

What a lovely facility. Always clean, friendly and you can tell that they really care for their residents who seem happy and well adjusted. Well managed. Efficient. I go there once a month with others from my church to provide music…a hymn sing. The residents love it.

The first time I entered Benton House, Port Orange for an interview, I was in awe of the beautiful, clean surroundings, the attention to detail and the happy friendly staff members. Everyone was welcoming! At the interview, I was immediately put at ease by a warm, eloquent and professional young lady the Executive Director, Jennifer Brewer. Benton House, Port Orange has now been my place of employment for five years. I have met some incredible co-workers and charming residents particularly in Memory Care. To interact with and care for these sweet residents have given me tremendous joy and fulfillment. Each day, as I assist a resident, I am reminded, "But for the grace of God, this could be me." Resident care here is excellent! Thank you Jennifer for believing in me and affording me the opportunity to grow professionally and to become a part of the Executive Care Team. L.O. V. E. Benton House Port Orange is truly a wonderful place to work, where the residents' individual needs are the priority.
