My mother was in another “luxury living” personal care home in Indiana which I was not comfortable with. We got my mom on the waitlist but unfortunately she passed away. Sherri E. was so kind, attentive and helpful in trying to get my mom admitted. She was checking in on us while mom was hospitalized asking if she could help in any way. Even after she passed, she was still checking in. Never heard a word from the place she resided at for a year and a half, during her hospitalization or after her passing. I think this speaks volumes of Sherri and the staff and I would highly recommend you check them out if you’re looking for a home for your parents!

I've been to many parties at Moorehead Place and they've all been wonderful! The food is delicious, the themes and entertainment are fun, and the residents really enjoy themselves. I've also been there many times to visit friends and the staff are friendly and welcoming, and seem to genuinely care about the residents. The residents are treated with respect and, from what I've seen, are also provided with excellent healthcare and services.

I contacted The Addison of Moorehead on a whim for my grandparents after my son helped with a project there for the Boy Scouts. I fell in love with the beautiful courtyard and living room at first sight, and I just knew it was the perfect place for my grandparents to live out their next chapter. Bethany was amazing - she answered my incessant list of questions via call and text and helped us so much with the transition. My Grandpa was in love with the community the second he saw it; my grandma took more convincing to move to the next chapter - but all the staff was incredibly helpful and empathetic with us during the transition. After a couple weeks, my grandma was absolutely in love, and now, 9 months later, she tells me daily that there couldn’t be a better place to live. The relatively small number of residents allows for a personal relationship between staff and residents, and I truly trust that they care about her well being, quality of life, and dignity, not just basic care needs. She absolutely loves the meals, and the activities are a very important and enriching part of her daily life. The staff makes life so fun there. I love the other residents that live there, and I feel so thankful that my Grandma gets to be around such great people. My Grandpa passed away a few months after they moved in, but they made sure he got his last wish to die peacefully in my grandma’s arm. They provide exceptional care and provide invaluable insight and connections to physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, home health nursing and hospice. I cannot recommend The Addison of Moorehead enough. You absolutely will not regret picking this as a new home for the people you love most.

This Is A great place.Its A very Beautiful place. The rooms for the residents are very spacious. It's like their own little apartment. Staff makes you feel at home.Always pleasant and welcoming.I would recommend this home.I would put my loved one here if I had the choice.
