i must say i am so glad i chose this facility to put my mom in residence at terra bella. let me start with the intro. i met with teresa the administrator of admittance. she was the most professional friendly person i have ever encountered. i was shocked that she advised me she recently took on this assignment. she answered all our questions and assured us what the transition would be like. all i can say is thank you. my wife recommended this facility as she placed her own mother several years ago. now that she is situated there my mom stated what i feel is the highest compliment. the people here are so much friendly here then the last place. overall the place is clean and the staff is excellent. keep up the good work.

My family and I made the very difficult decision to find a care facility for our mom. On a very difficult and heartbreaking journey touring facilities we came across TerraBella at Northridge. The moment we walked in we knew this had to be where God had brought us!!!!! The staff were so welcoming, it was so clean ( no displeasing odors!!!!) and we felt a sense of joy that we never felt anywhere else we toured. Our mother who was so incredibly sad about moving there has adjusted in a way only God and this precious staff could have done!!!!! We have All been amazed at how well she has done and how Happy she is now!!!!!! We are so incredibly Thankful to all the wonderful staff and the precious residents that have made this incredibly hard journey such a wonderful place for our family!!!!!! We all feel like family there and it feels like home!!!!!! We are so Thankful we found this sweet place for our mom!!! The Lord is so Good!!!!!❤️

TerraBella was one stop on our very long journey to find a warm, qualified, and understanding place for our family member. Tucked off the main road in a pleasant setting, we entered the lobby and were greeted, welcomed, and had immediate good feelings. Misty and her staff answered our questions and provided specifics along with a tour and introductions. We hope that this is our final stop in our search! Edit: 4.21. In theory, as presented by the sales rep Misty, the situation looked very positive and appropriate for the care of my family member; however, in actuality, it has been a challenging situation to navigate, which has ended poorly. The financial, emotional, and physical expense of this experience will be long lasting. Sadly, this 4 month hopeful endeavor reflects the nature of healthcare in this country today. Buyer beware.

I wish you could give zero stars. We were trying to find a nice, caring nursing home for my mother-in-law. She has advanced dementia. We toured a few, Terrabella northridge among them. We had to act quickly and moved her from Virginia to Terrabella. I will be honest, hindsight is 20-20. She had only been there maybe a month. We visit every Saturday morning. This particular morning we visited. We walked into her room it had the strongest scent of feces. The smell was overwhelming and I soon located the source of the odor. There was dried feces all over her bed, including her pillow, a trail on the floor leading to her bathroom where a dirty depends laid on the floor. I went in search of someone to clean her room up, 10 mins passed no one came to clean. Meanwhile another tech came in and proceeded to sit on the arm of my mother-in-laws recliner, leaning all over her to inform us that she had been adopted by her. And she was now my husband's sister. This was a new level of creepy. Meanwhile she told us this wasn't her hall so she didn't even bother to help. I ended up changing mom's bedding by myself because apparently if its not your hall, the patient suffers. Finally another tech came in and was like you already changed the bedding, and was going to walk out. My husband asked her since she had on gloves would she please pick up the dirty depends on the floor. She actually huffed at being asked to help out. Meanwhile the other tech is still leaning all over mom. Not moving a muscle to help. On the way home, we discussed what options we had. We couldn't get her into a new nursing home until the following week. So we called a company that provides staff to stay with someone 24/7 until we were able to get her moved out of Terrabella. That evening we received a call updating us on mom. When the other caregiver arrived they had to have the staff unlock mom's door with a key. That's right our 89 year old mom was being locked in her room at night. This was never mentioned to us nor have we ever seen a Dr.'s order for this. We incurred the extra expenses of keeping 24 hour care with her plus the expenses we were already paying the nursing facility, to keep her safe. I visited daily until the day we moved her out. The facility said she needed a wheelchair so my daughter went with me to buy her one. We delivered it up there and we're told that they would have maintenance put it together only to find out later, maintenance told them a lady asked them to remove it from her room. Make that make sense. So my husband put it together himself, on our next visit. Her original bed had been moved out, supposedly to storage, but no one could help us locate it on the day we were trying to have it moved. We had ordered her a hospital bed, that maintenance put together. Figure that out, it should have been the company we leased the bed from. But when it came to the wheelchair they couldn't put it together because maintenance doesn't help with DME. Explain this... When we finally were able to get her bed. We found out it was in another patient's room. When we received it, first thing I noticed was the cover on the box spring was completely ripped off. Mind you this bed was brand new from the furniture store. And why it was in another patient's room I couldn't begin to fathom. All in all, I will say that we regret ever putting mom in the care of this facility. She seemed to shrink down as a whole. But I will say this since we have moved her she is healthier and happier at the new facility.
