TerraBella Harrisburg

Terra Bella made the last seven months of my father’s life some of the best. He was surrounded by top notch, caring staff that made every holiday a major party. They laughed with him and cared about him. He enjoyed the concerts with Elvis and Johnny Cash impersonators, Men’s outings to the car museum and restaurants, bingo, Bible study, church, and the entire staff that catered to his every need. He said Sonia could do anything. Terri was very intelligent/helpful. Victoria, Liz, Christy, Jasmine, Veronica and the rest of the staff were all so fun and caring. Megan and Angela took great care of his medical needs. He looked forward to every meal in the dining room because they made it special. He was incredibly happy here surrounded by very caring people who are doing incredible work. Thank you Terra Bella for everything. You surpassed every expectation!!!!

My mother was very hesitant to go into a facility, however with the falling, she was not able to live alone anymore. She moved in and absolutely loves it. All of the staff are super friendly and kind to the residents and guest. The activities director really goes out of her way to have fun and engaging activities to do and treats the residents as if they are her own family.

We thought this would be a great place for my dad after his dementia facility closed. It was not, by a long shot. Moving a dementia patient is traumatic. He was fine before the move.. Terra Bella didn't accommodate that at all. He didn't fit into their expectations, but they kept collecting $.They didn't work with him caringly at all; the facility even filed a complaint with the state about how a worker treated him. I sat with him in a common area as staff did their own nails, colored in adult coloring books (not with a resident ), ate their fast food, and talked junk, not once checking on residents. If your loved one does not fit into their complacent ideal of a patient, they will not care for them as they need to be cared for. The facility we moved him to was awesome. AMATA ESTATES, Harrisburg. NO issues at all.

I feel so lucky to have found TerraBella Harrisburg for my mom. She had been in another facility that was problematic and I came to the staff very stressed about the situation. They immediately did their best to put my mind at ease. She's in Memory Care and I love there are only 16 residents. It's small and the caregivers really know and understand the residents. If they see something that's slightly off or unusual, they contact me right away. They're great about working with their medical staff and therapists to ensure she's getting great care. Victoria is the MC Director and is the kindest, most compassionate person I've dealt with in a senior living community. She responds to my questions right away and is great with mom and all the residents. Jennifer and Pam are caregivers and very good with the residents. I also take mom for walks in Assisted Living and the staff all know her by name and are so sweet. The residence itself is always super clean. My work schedule varies, so I drop by unannounced at different times. She is always nicely dressed and her room is put together. I have spoken to therapists, as well as doctors that come here to work and they've told me privately that this is one of the best facilities that they work with. TerraBella is a very good choice and I highly recommend taking a look for your loved one.
