Sunrise is not only beautiful and clean, but it is such a wonderful community as well. Staff is very helpful, considerate, and kind and they do their best to make sure my Aunt is well taken care of in every way. Special shout out to Mandy (Assistant Director), Kay (Care Coordinator), and Bob (Maintenance) who go above and beyond daily.

Our Dad moved to Sunrise almost 16 months ago from Florida. Of course transitions are always tough, but the team at Sunrise did an incredible job helping smooth the way. A particular shout out to Sherri at the front desk. She is so kind and caring for our Dad- always going above and beyond to make sure he is happy and comfortable when he is near her. Her warmth and overall good energy always gives Dad and our family comfort.

One star for the admissions experience. Choosing senior care for a parent is emotionally difficult, and any organization in this business knows that. Sunrise's sales approach seemed built to exploit it rather than ease it. I was pushed to commit and sign well before I was comfortable. The tone was aggressive, not consultative - urgency about availability and timing, with little regard for the fact that a family was working through one of the hardest calls it will make. I raised the concern and didn't leave feeling heard. I can't speak to the quality of care inside. I can say that the sales leader of this community treats families like a closing opportunity. If you tour here, be prepared to hold your ground and stick to your timeline. I hope management reviews how these conversations are handled in the future.

I checked out Sunrise's Woodcliff Lakes, NJ facility. It is picturesque and beautiful but is NOT meant for short term stays for a post-op stay/care after a simple surgery when one needs some nursing care because they can not recover at home. I suppose this not that type of a place.
