As a private caregiver, I visit many assisted living communities. I am rarely impressed with what I see. Summerhouse at Bay Cove feels much more like apartment living than assisted living. They appear to have a lot going on all the time. And, I have heard the food is good (so, so important).

This is where my sister has lived for the last several years. She loves it there,has made many new friends over the years. On our recent visit the activity director had a Jamaican cruise party for the residents. Not to miss out on the fun we played our part. My wife sister and myself decked out

A nightmare of a place. If I could give no stars I would. Do not expose your loved ones to this torture. Nothing is made for disabled people, elevators have been out of order at least a month. Forever changing staff since they don’t pay them properly. And the food will poison you. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!

Do NOT take your loved one there. My brother is there and is in critical need of additional care. They've allowed his family to abandon him; therefore, his medical needs are not met. All they do in the assisted living is take your money. I'm having to go through the Attorne General to remedy this dangerous situation. Importantly, the staff changes every single month, especially the administrator. Horrid!
