If I could give StoryPoint Saline more stars, I would! From the moment I stepped in for a tour, I knew this was the place I could trust to take care of my parents. It's a lively, happy place, and a peaceful place. I am blown away by the support we've received to give them a smooth transition into care after leaving their home of decades in another state, to be closer to family. Sarah C spent time with me explaining everything and had so much sensitivity to my parents' situation. She immediately knew how to accommodate their needs. My dad loves to cook and my mom is in bad health. Most senior living facilities do not have the option of a full kitchen if one member of a couple needs assistance, but StoryPoint allows my dad to be completely independent (and cook!) while providing the support that my mom needs so that he can relax and they can live together. StoryPoint also helped my sister and I set up the whole apartment prior to my parents' arrival and my mom even thought she was back at home with all their art and furniture around. She also loves hearing the many birds singing from the window near their new lovely balcony. And my dad is enjoying the Wednesday happy hour and hopes to join the birding club. Tayler B. and Paul B. of CorsoCare have been absolutely incredible managing my mom's complex medical needs and preparing so they'd have everything set up and ready to support her upon arrival. They even ordered all her durable medical equipment. They were also able to explain and demonstrate how people are able to peacefully age in place at StoryPoint. Dr. Sam immediately made time to visit with both of my parents shortly after their arrival and was very thorough. All the CorsoCare staff have been wonderful, including Aliyah, Zack and Dylan (literally everyone though I don't remember all their names). Bill, who oversees all maintenance is an absolute gem! All the front desk staff have also been kind and helpful, including Tonya, Nadia. And Michele was so helpful in facilitating the move of furniture, etc. William, who helps clean the apartment is also a total sweetheart. It is incredible to be able to relax knowing my parents are in the best possible place for them with so many competent, warm-hearted people supporting them.

I came to install a printer for them here. When I say they were amazing they were so welcoming and kind hearted to me and I usually don’t get that type of reception when I come to these part of Michigan! The staff is great and I would trust them with my care when I’m of that age! Truly amazing people!

Love being able to visit this community. There is always a smiling face around every corner and you can tell everyone truly loves what they do and whom they do it for. Great care for residents at all care levels.

My dad was at StoryPoint in Saline for the last 5 years due to Parkinson's Disease. The caregiving at StoryPoint Saline became fantastic when Kristin Goetz took over 3 years ago and perhaps even better when she hired Tayler Babik as her assistant. If either of them had left to go somewhere else, while my dad was there, I would have moved him to wherever they went! When your dad cannot do much for himself and needs help with almost every single thing from getting up, to using the bathroom, care becomes the primary focus. It is so hard when you have to switch places with your parent and they become the child. You feel so alone and so guilty if you are unable to do their care 24/7. Really, it’s like leaving your 2 year old somewhere 24 hours a day and hoping for the best. Kristin and Tayler were both available anytime of the day or night. I am not just saying this, they really would respond to a message at 3am and did whatever was needed. It is a vocation for them, not a job! I tear up just thinking how lucky my dad and I were to have them. They really made sure everyone got the BEST care. They just took care of everything. If I was concerned about anything at all and mentioned it, it would be taken care of. So even though I was suddenly the parent of my dad, I now had two of my own new parents who I knew would always be there to help and support me. They pitched in whenever necessary and making sure that every person living at StoryPoint was well looked after was clearly their top priority! The caregivers that Kristin and Tayler hired and oversaw were amazing! It take a huge amount of insight and critical thinking to hire the best caregivers ever! The caregivers themselves were like family and I really miss the whole team. My dad was really happy there. Honestly, I would love to have been woken up and helped to get ready by any of them. They were really wonderful! The activities were always wonderful and varied. My dad said it was so much more interesting than living in our house. They have always had great activities there! Jody, the director is also all anyone could ever ask for as a director. If you get a tear in your eye, she will too out of empathy. This is who you want directing the whole place: someone with kindness and a heart as well as intelligence! Just fyi, I am the textbook helicopter daughter. My own adult daughter had to have a talk with me, now that my dad is gone to make sure I wouldn’t start obsessing over her again. I was at StoryPoint anywhere from 30 to 84 hours a week. I loved spending time with my dad, but this meant that I saw and noticed a lot and I can honestly say that StoryPoint Saline is very well run! Also they have great food and the ceilings are very high. Maintenance is always so helpful too and housekeeping!
