Our parents, Larry and Mim Martin moved to Stonebridge in November 2019. They were nervous for a few days at the beginning until they became familiar with living in an assisted living facility. However, once they settled in, they absolutely loved living there. Our dad and mom especially liked that no they no longer had to cook any meals, the fact that there was a nurse available, aids who provided help when they needed it, and the entertainment and activities that were provided. The meals were really good and as a family we were able to eat meals with them. Our mom died in January 2023, our father continued to live at Stonebridge. As he aged he became legally blind and had a diagnosis of moderate Alzheimer’s. They made sure he was able to get to all the activities he was interested in. Provided the extra help he needed so he was able to continue to live in his studio apartment. Unfortunately he is now in a nursing home for the medical care he needs. The entire family is grateful for the care both of our parents received from everyone who works at Stonebridge; they genuinely care about their residents. Our parents also appreciated the kindness of all the wonderful people they met while living there. We highly recommend Stonebridge for those looking for an assisted living facility.

Our mom has been at Stonebridge Burlington for just a month now, and has settled right in. Mom tells us how good the food is. Which was a main concern for us, that takes a big worry off of our shoulders. The staff already knows my mom’s likes & needs which has helped her feel at home very quickly. Having nurses on staff to administer mom’s daily meds has been a game changer. Everyone here is very friendly & helpful. Lots of great activities daily. Mom especially likes the live music, and the daily happy hour at The Pub is great too! Not only is the building & rooms beautiful, the grounds are as well. It’s also in a great location to every store you could imagine which makes it convenient to take mom shopping. Easy assess to the highway for family & friends to visit. Thank you to everyone there for making all our lives happier in every way!

I moved here in July of last year and chose it primarily because of the spacious room sizes, which have been a great fit for me. The entertainment options are excellent, and the meals are consistently very good. I’m also happy that I’m able to have my dog, Bonnie, living with me—it really makes this place feel like home. That said, I do wish I had looked more closely at the overall resident demographic before moving in. Many residents have hearing and vision impairments, which can sometimes make social interaction more challenging than I expected. Overall, it’s a comfortable place to live with strong amenities, and I appreciate the positives it offers.

I would like to share my family’s experience since my father has been a resident at Stonebridge Burlington. My Father is going to turn 92 yrs old this coming October. He has been on his own since his wife passed in 2006 up until last summer he has done remarkably well with day to day tasks however the beginning of last summer we noticed some subtle changes in his daily routine so my brother and I sat down with him and though he could use some more help with him taken his medication and making sure he was eating a more balanced diet. Since my father has been a resident of Stonebridge he has gotten excellent care from the staff . His medication is given to him twice a day as prescribed by a staff member . When he moved in the maintenance staff has been a great resource for him any time he needs something done in his unit they are right there ready to help. He has had a couple of medical issues since has been there and the nursing staff has been excellent they have communicated very well with my brother and me. There are a lot of activities that my father enjoys such as the pool table , doing puzzles walking outside when the weather is good and the men’s group he belongs to at Stonebridge. The food is great for him it is a balanced meal plan he seems to enjoy it. My Brother and I are very happy with the experience my father is having at Stonebridge the communication has been great and we feel that my father is in safe clean well run place and get the services he need for his age and level of independence.
