Sterling Court Sky – Active Living

When I was driving up to Sterling Court Active Living to meet with the Sales Manager, Lillian Rascoe.(BTW, You fall in love with her within 5 minutes). The first thing I observed was the location. I have visited numerous Independent Living Communities and I have never seen one that was a few steps from so many stores, doctors and wonderful services. From the start, this feels like a true Independent living experience . I walk into Sterling Court and was greeted by not only a welcoming staff, but, by all the residents! I immediately felt the warmth this marvelous place offers. Residents were engaged with other residents and laughing and just having a good time. I toured this beautiful community and was in awe of all that they offer. The apartments are so spacious and I love how they are designed. This affordable living community should absolutely be at the top of one’s list to visit, if you or your loved one is looking for a carefree second stage of life! I love Sterling Court. Absolutely outstanding! Sterling Court in Deltona is everything you could want in a senior living community and more. From the moment you walk through the doors, you can feel the warmth and care that radiate from the staff. Kellie, the General Manager, sets the tone with her incredible leadership and genuine compassion for every resident. She goes above and beyond to make sure families feel at ease and residents feel truly at home. Lillian, the Sales Manager, is equally exceptional — she takes the time to understand each person’s needs and makes the transition seamless and comforting. The atmosphere is vibrant, the activities are engaging, and the community itself is spotless and welcoming. It’s rare to find a place where professionalism and heart meet so perfectly, but Sterling Court has mastered that balance. If you’re looking for a place where your loved one will be cared for like family — or where you yourself can thrive — Sterling Court is the gold standard. I can’t recommend it enough!

I am updating my original review. The management has taken care of the issues and all should be well moving forward. Thank you. I helped a friend find a place there. It is updated and the staff up until recently has been great. There is a new manager on the property who does not respond to issues of residents, return calls or emails. The sales pitch is fabulous, but once you sign, you are forgotten. After a short five months, he received a rent increase notice for an un renovated apartment of over $1200 per year for a small one bedroom. The "assistant" to the manager would not let me make an appointment with the new "manager" either to discuss this. Unprofessional would be an understatement. Please place your active seniors elsewhere. Everything starts off great until it doesn't then all you get are auto monthly charges without the answers regarding unexpected rent increases after a "promotion" and decrease in services with zero explanation.

Si always leave the salon feeling pretty! In the 10 years I’ve been going there, I never, left disappointed. Sherlyn is excellent!!
