My mom has been a resident for the past 9 years at the Towers. It has been a wonderful supportive home. I can't say enough about the staff. Bridget, the director, displays intimate involvement and care with all matters involviing the residents. Her leadership sets the tone for Assisted Living from the top down. My mom is loved dearly and her needs are handled quickly and fully. She is known by the staff and is greeted daily with hugs and warmth. The building has had recent upgrades including new floors and paint. The food is good and diverse with alternate options available. The individual apartment and inside of the towers is clean. I'm looking forward to the patio renovation in the future in which my mom can continue her garden. There is security into the building and a security guard at night. I do not worry about my mom's safety and I feel I have the ability to express concerns if needed without resistance. I highly recommend St. Augustine Towers for your loved ones.

We can not say enough fantastic things about this wonderful facility. My Dad is a 9 year resident and he's so happy here. This building is not the newest or fanciest in town, but it is spotlessly clean and so well cared for. Staff is so kind and respectful of residents. They treat residents as if they are family. Dad has found friends, a wonderful range of activities, good food.... as a family we are beyond satisfied with the life he is able to maintain there. We highly recommend the Towers and continue to sing it's praises to family and friends. We also wish to directly address a recent Google review of this facility that is blatantly false! This facility is CLEAN. My Dad has a lovely 1 bedroom apartment. In the 9 years he's lived there, we have NEVER experienced ANYTHING remotely like the conditions described. His apartment is cleaned weekly and all public spaces are beautifully maintained. If there is interest -please go see for yourself!

This review is NOT about the nurses or direct-care staff. They cared for my mother well. My concerns are with case management, accounting, financial handling, and administration. My mother lived here for almost five years. DOCUMENT EVERYTHING—especially if the facility handles your loved one’s Social Security. In 2023, the facility provided me with her financial ledger. Years later, when I asked more questions about her Social Security and account, I was suddenly told that information could no longer be released. Their own written response stated that her Social Security was being deposited into her resident account, that “she has no expenses,” and that Ohio Medicaid had not initiated patient liability. SSA also confirmed that the facility was her Representative Payee and responsible for managing her benefits. I am not accusing anyone of stealing or misappropriating funds. I am saying that the facility’s written statements and changing explanations gave me every reason to investigate. My mother’s guardian was guardian of her person—not her estate. There was no guardian of her estate. Yet I was repeatedly given explanations about authority and why financial information could not be provided. After my mother passed away, no one from administration contacted me about her death or belongings. I had to follow up myself. A sentimental photo book I sent her is also missing. Families should not have to fight this hard for answers about their loved one’s money or belongings. If your loved one receives Social Security or SSI, document everything. Save statements, ledgers, emails, and screenshots. Ask who is receiving the benefits, what is being deducted, whether Medicaid has established patient liability, and who has legal authority over the money. The lack of transparency and changing explanations permanently changed how I view the administrative side of this facility. The façade is real. Pay attention.. TERRIBLE PLACE

My mother resides here and we have been very happy with the care and the programs she participates in. The staff is friendly and addresses any concerns promptly. They truly care about their residents.
