I am a self employed private duty caregiver. My client asked me to tour several personal care homes in the area for him. I got to meet Michael at Spring Mill. I didn’t even have an appointment but he was so nice to devote time to me. He listened carefully about my client’s needs and he asked good questions too. He was the only person out of all the other places I went to who I felt comfortable with. The community is very nice. It looks like a lodge you’d see in the Poconos. I talked to some residents and they all said they were very happy there. I recommended Spring Mill to my client and he agree.

I visit Spring Mill on a weekly basis as a Chaplain from Holisticare Hospice. We support clients at end of life and create a comfortable and peaceful space to process feelings. Spring Mill is a beautiful location nestled in the woods and wonderful staff and residents. I’ve even eaten at their dining area with residents and enjoyed the meals and deserts. Great location, ambience, staff and residents. Beautiful private patio in the back to sit with clients and reflect on life!

Recently before the passing of my grandmother, she received care at spring mill. We were so taken back by the kindness and care. Specifically by a lady named Janine who was fantastic in providing us hospitality . She went out of her way to give us a snack and lunch when my grandmother was in her last week of life (November ‘24) She communicated with us and comforted us in a time of need. She is an outstanding asset to the place. Additionally the couple Duke and his wife Kimisha were caring and kind and my grandmother was thankful to have them. The facility is well kept and clean with well trained staff and a lot of activities and options for many different needs.

Spring Mill is a fantastic senior living facility. My mother-in-law has been living there for about two years now and we couldn’t be happier with her care. Janine, Jillian, and the rest of the staff at Spring Mill have been nothing but helpful and always greet you with a smile and a hug. Before moving her here I toured 6 or 7 other facilities looking for the best fit and I am very happy we decided on Spring Mill. No regrets. My mother-in-law enjoys going on lots of field trips and participating in an array of activities that Spring Mill provides. Whenever we call she usually says she is busy with this activity or that. A huge improvement from where she was before moving here. And anytime she doesn’t pick her phone up it’s great peace of mind knowing we can call the front desk and they can find her quickly so that we know she is ok. The communication between the staff and me and my husband had been top notch. Anytime we have a question it is answered in a timely manner. The facility itself is also nice. They have a large outdoor patio with a garden and lots of seating and umbrellas. And they regularly have live music for the residents. There is always something special going on at Spring Mill. Sometimes when we visit we like to take her out to eat but it’s also nice to know that the dining room is a good option. I’ve eaten there many times and never had a bad meal. So if you are thinking of having a loved one move in to Spring Mill, do it now, the only thing you will regret is not moving them here sooner.
