The staff at spring arbor--particularly those in the memory care unit--are some of the nicest, most compassionate people I have met. My family had experience with three different facilities and the care, concern, and communication that I saw from spring arbor staff was top notch. The facilities are clean and the staff is incredibly professional. My grandmother recently passed and the staff went to extraordinary measures to provide her comfort and showed such generosity of time and spirit to my family in a very difficult time. Truly, they made our experience as positive and low stress as it possibly could have been--I am so thankful my family was able to entrust my grandmother to their care.

My mom has Alzheimer’s and is high functioning as well. Which makes for a more difficult situation. She’s been in Spring Arbors Memory Care for the past two months, it was difficult for her in the beginning. I saw her for the first time in several weeks, she looks better than she has in the past three years. She is extremely happy, loves the people there, and I can tell without a doubt she’s been well taken care of and that the atmosphere has helped her tremendously. When I went to see her, I was afraid she would look like this is the last place on earth she wanted to be and that she would look miserable. My son and I brought lunch for her and we sat in the activity room, as we were spreading out the food, she sat back in the chair with a gleam on her face as if she were inviting us into her new home and her surroundings. She was extremely happy. She would talk about all the activities and the ones she especially liked and wanted us to come back to experience them with her. A HUGE blessing for me to see her this way. I can tell she really has enjoyed being around other people A LOT! Also she goes on and on about how much she likes the people that help her. 🥰 Her interaction with the girls there was a blessing to see!

My mom, moved in a week ago and so far has been treated like a queen and seems so much happier there. So many activities to do, smiling people that work there and seem to love their jobs. Beautiful place in side and out. The Food is great, done fresh with lots of care / health in mind. Thank You Spring Arbor for taking care of our elder in such a kind and caring way.

My father lived here for about two years. I don't have anything but positive things to say. I had an easy time reaching staff about any concerns - all of whom were happy to help (you don't get passed around). The simple thing that stood out the most - I would often hear staff interact with my dad as we were on the phone together. Whether they had snacks or medications they were unfailing polite, patient, and just plain pleasant. This time in your life is not so great - especially this last year. But, just staffing the place with good people makes a big difference. Kudos to the folks who work there.
