Two friends and I have held monthly devotional services at Spring Arbor for the past 5+ years. During that time I have become very familiar with Spring Arbor and gotten to know the activity director, Christy Morgan, very well. Christy is unfailingly kind and cheerful and does an excellent job planning outings and holiday-themed events.

I highly recommend this facility for your loved ones. My wife, Hatsady, is the ARCC here, and knowing the type of caring and nurturing person she is, I know the residents are receiving genuine love and support. When I visit, I can see the strong bonds between the staff and residents and the compassion that goes into the care they provide. Seeing how deeply affected she is when a beloved resident passes shows just how much she truly cares. She always says, “They are my family,” and that says a lot about the heart and dedication she brings to her role every day.

I highly recommend this facility for your loved ones. The staff are extremely friendly, compassionate, and welcoming. My sister, Hatsady Phothisane, is the ARCC at this facility, and every time I visit, I am able to see the genuine warmth and connection between the staff and residents. It is clear that the residents receive attentive care and support, and the kindness shown throughout the facility truly stands out. Everyone is so caring and dedicated to creating a positive environment for the residents.

You might say I have a lot of experience with long term care facilities. My Mother, Father and Mother in law all needed assisted living or memory care in their later years. In the process of transitioning them from home to the assisted living “life”, I interviewed and visited numerous facilities, and learned a lot about what makes for a caring, safe, and supportive environment for our loved ones in need of such care. They are all deceased now, but during their last few years of life I also got a first hand look at how these facilities operate. Later, when the time came for a favorite uncle to transition to a long term care facility, we chose Spring Arbor of Albemarle. It was superior in every respect to the three other facilities I had direct and personal experience with - the quality and low turnover of the truly compassionate staff; the professionalism and integrity of their business practices; the consistent sincerity of the affection and care they provided - over years, not weeks or months; the safety of the facility and a peaceful pastoral setting are all hallmarks of Spring Arbor. No one relishes the idea of spending their last years in a long term care facility, but if such a need arises, for you or a parent, you will be providentially fortunate if you land at Spring Arbor. I would give them a 10 star rating if I could! - Scott Biedrycki
