Southwoods is a wonderful senior living community. They take excellent care of the residents. Their Executive Director, Ruth, has been at Southwoods for many, many years and makes sure the community is running smoothly and is providing the best care for their residents. I highly recommend this community when looking for assisted living for a loved one.

Southwoods living facility is an outstanding facility for senior citizens who require assistance and can no longer live independently. There are many things that make this place a 5 star facility but I will name only a few that I routinely notice visiting the building weekly 1. The staff is by far the kindest and friendliest staff I have ever seen at a facility. They greet you with a smile and are always willing to help. They treat the residents here with kindness and compassion and really make the resident feel at home . They get to know each and every one of them and go beyond their duties to help both the residents and other staff 2. Cleanliness. I visit this building weekly and the cleanliness I have experienced is like none other. Every room is cleaned with care and the bathrooms, hallways, sitting areas, etc are impeccably clean. 3 . Activities- every day there are activities for the residents to participate in from singing, book/story reading, games, puzzles, exercise classes and even rides to visit stores, observe fall foliage or even a trip to the movies. The residents enjoy these activities so much and many of them look forward to these activities to socialize and stay active. I have not had one bad experience during my numerous visits to Southwoods and I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking for an assisted living facility for themselves or loved ones.

The staff at SouthWoods is very professional, friendly, and caring. My friend is so pleased that she selected Southwoods. And I am impressed and pleased with the care, the patience, and the warmth of the staff. Another plus is that the facility is attractive and clean.
