Sonata East at Viera

We have been working with Sonata to get a family member to decide to live at Independent living at Sonata East Viera FL. The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating to us. It can be such an emotional time, but the people there are so sweet, supportive, non-pushy and empathetic. They offered that the family member come to activities to see more of what Sonata was all about. They invited her to have dinner. The family member signed on today and we are so relieved. What stands out to us about this place is how family-oriented they are. It makes us want to come visit as it is so beautiful and social. Studies are showing that seniors live longer happier lives when they have human connections. This is an excellent living situation in which to find that. We are thrilled that mom will become part of that community!

Moving a loved one into a senior living community is never a small decision - but choosing Sonata for my mother has brought us nothing but peace, gratitude and confidence in her care. The staff here go above and beyond not just to provide excellent care, but to truly connect with each resident. Mom is not just safe - she is thriving. The environment is beautifully maintained, with daily activities that nourish the mind, body and spirit. There are many fun activities throughout the year where family can join and interact as well. Thank you to the entire team for making this next chapter filled with care, dignity and joy. We couldn't have chosen a better place.

My wife and I have lived at Sonata East at Viera for a year and a half. We agree it was the best decision we've made in some time. It is full-time resort living. The facility is unmatched anywhere in Brevard (and I dare say well beyond). The staff, truly consider us family and I've seen them come in on their day off to help or just check on you. What is perhaps the best is the Lifestyle Team. There is not a day go by that they don't have something planned that is fun and entertaining; be at the 'bar with trivia' and party games, to informative luncheons on places and things; to just a party. Special kudos go to Liz Silber, our Cruise Director, who somehow finds fun things for everyone. There are no "wall flowers" when Liz is around (you want to be in on the action).

Hello, my name is Tom. I have been a resident at Sonata East for over 3 years. When I first arrived, my family emphasized that there were a lot of choices. I found this comforting. The move here was a big lifetime change. I am happy to say it was a good one. Sonata East has been good for me. The staff goes out of their way to make me feel comfortable here. The highlight of the experience for me has been the activity program. The team that runs the lifestyle program here has been of exceptional skill and creativity. They all get high marks but I particularly would like to recognize Liz Silber. It is a joy to see her in action. Her skill, dedication and enthusiasm in my book puts Sonata East at the top of the list.
