We love Solista. My 100 year old mother in law moved there a year ago. She is very happy there. We are very happy with it too. We love the staff. You can tell they really care for the residents. The residents are pretty cool too. Its such a great place. I often tell others about it...just in case they need a perfect independent living place.

After an extensive search of old folks homes we chose Solista three years ago. Initially the location on the south hill attracted us. Another motivating factor was the emphasis on independent living. The room we chose is like living in a treehouse in the woods. Our balcony gets plenty of sun and is an ideal place to lounge in the summer. Even better are our hosts starting with an enthusiastic corps of servers who bring the evanescence of youth to every meal which are prepared with care and creativity those kids double up as housekeepers keeping our room straight. Our bus driver takes us to medical appointments, church and shopping. He takes us on scenic rides and to outings from bridge to dining experiences. We are fortunate to have an excellent engineer to take care of whatever breaks down. It doesn’t hurt that he has practical insight into Gonzaga basketball. Our lifestyle manager constantly brings new ideas for us to experience. Two mother hens keep everything in order as they care for us with love and compassion. We are blessed to have all our needs met. Charlie and Mary Kay

My aunt Jane has lived at Solista Spokane for 6 months now and really enjoys it. The Activities Director Cheyenne has lots of fun activities and trips for the residents, including lunch outings, picnics, shopping and museum trips. The food is quite tasty as well. The management really cares about the residents and that’s the most important thing of all. You could pay a lot more for a lot less.

My 94 year old mother just moved into a studio apartment at Solista. She is still "independent living" and seems to be adjusting well to the move. We (her children) really appreciate the amenities provided including 3 well prepared meals each day, planned activities, and the friendly 24hr staff. The move in was very easy and the staff/management has gone above and beyond to make sure that her apartment was the safest and most comfortable (lowering shelves, installing grab rails, and lowering door sill plates) for her special needs. Thanks for making her feel welcome
