I have been living here for about a year now. I will say that the staff here from management to other staff members housekeeping, the servers, the chef have been awesome. I won't forget the help/kindness that they have given me since day one. Recently this place has changed management. Even though the remodeling has driven me and my dog nuts with all the noise I love the changes. I feel even more needs to be done. I still feel that I needed way more communication on how things are done here rules etc... (like a hand book) Especially when I first moved in. I was lost at first like for the longest time I thought breakfast was at 7 am when it's at 8 am. I do feel that meals are rushed. Why can't we have more of a window to get downstairs to have our meals. I honestly stopped eating here because at first the meals for me were not good, small portions, cold food was served when it needed to be hot, and the being "all out" of a particular dish got exhausting to deal with to the point where I just gave up eating here. Management has mentioned for me to go and try the food again maybe I will. Also outside in the rear & surrounding areas on this property there's a part that looks like an apocalypse has happened, and they're zombies coming out to eat your brains. It's a mess sad I can't get up there to enjoy the beauty of nature more. I'm hoping one day it will get fixed up. The lighting is very poor outside. Hard to see when I have to walk my dog in the evenings or real early mornings. I take a flashlight with me to see my way ☺️ also to see where my dog left a prize so I can dispose of it. Like all places have the good & the bad to them I get it. Just leaving here my experience living here for about a year. I found myself calling this place home. Now sadly I find myself having to move out for my own personal reasons. Edit: there's also one last thing they are too religious leaning towards Catholic/Christian side that's one thing that always bothered me. Not ALL the residents there are from that faith for example during the holidays they didn't even put up one menorah I know there are Jewish people living there for example. That part of living there never felt inclusive to me.

My wife and I looked at a number of retirement communities before choosing Harvard Park. We continue to believe that we made the right choice for us, this despite some notable exceptions. We enjoy the people, the staff, and the outsiders like family members and entertainers who visit..

This seems like a nice place. Everything is clean and tidy. The building seems well made. The staff and other tenants are friendly. The food is good. It's a good location. However, it's a bit expensive, and in my mother's words "It's really nice here. I don't like it". But I do think that she will adjust, and eventually come to really like it.

Excellent and informative tour of two apartments, with Janell White. She has been most helpful and patient as I try to help my mother with a possible move from her own home to an apartment. Facility is clean and cheerful, apartments are small and efficient. It does have a very homey feel.
