Everyone is happy here. I had wonderful conversations and I was also offered coffee and cookies from residents while I was selling my crafts at the Holiday Bazaar held here. I hope they continue to hold other events because I would love to be back.

My mom has lived there for almost a year and she loves it! She's making friends, likes not having to cook for herself so she's eating better, and her apartment has a lovely view. We just visited and stayed in their guest suite for 4 nights. It was spacious and better than staying at a hotel. Heather was super helpful in getting us what we needed and Shannon was great too.

I have been a resident at Solista Milwaukie since October 2024 and have been very pleased with the overall experience - I have described the experience to friends and family as it being like being on a small cruise ship that stays docked in port with regular meals, activities and entertainment. Fellow residents are like family and most of the staff are like extentended family who put a lot of attention and care into their daily support. As I write this now, I realize there are many examples of positive experiences and staff members I could highlight but a few people immediately come to mind: Shannon L. the Business Office Director is amazing and clearly acts as the glue to hold almost everything together. I see her doing most everything when needed from her primary office duties to cooking in the kitchen, serving food in the dining room and pitching in cleaning rooms when needed - all while keeping a positive disposition when interacting with residents. Mentioning this now also makes me think of Rejoy who works both as a housekeeper and food server. She seems to always have a genuine smile and laugh. She is partcularly good at knowing resident names and their food preferences at each meal - she impresses me evertime she takes food orders at my table. Liz the Resident Lifestyle Director is also great at knowing every resident's name and regularly greets each of us individually at meal times. She also personally makes great tasting hors d'oeuvres that she serves during our weekly happy hours. And she keeps our monthly activity calendar full with a variety of activities and group 'field trips' to locations around Oregon. I'd keep sharing more but it's time for me to head off to eat now!

My parents moved in here and they love it. From the management to the staff they are all wonderful, caring people. I come here to visit alot and bring my great grandkids and they love Shannon in the office. The kitchen staff move with speed, and care and the food is great. Everyone here is like family.
