Snow Canyon Retirement Community

We have lived here at Snow Canyon for almost a year now and are so glad we made the decision to declutter and downsize from our home in St George. As residents in independent living all of our needs are met. We especially enjoy the exercise classes and the gym. We also enjoy playing pool! So many activities and entertainment in the evenings. But most important are the friendships we’ve made here with both residents and staff!

I cannot say enough good things about Snow Canyon Retirement Community. All of the kindness, warmth, and compassion the employees show have made my mother a new person. Her experience since she moved from another assisted living facility to SCRC is like going from night to day. She is finally back to her happy self and that is completely because of the staff there. Everyone at every level does their job showing joy and deep caring for the members of the community. If my Mom were writing this she would want me to add a shout out for Chef Ken who shows that presentation is as important as a healthy meal. You won't want to go anywhere else to eat :)

I have lived here for 3 months and it is fantastic. The food is excellent,plenty of activities,and the staff bends over backwards to fulfill any needs that arise. I sit on my balcony and stare at the red mountains with all their beauty.

This place is a fraud. I put a deposit down on my credit card to move THREE elderly parents in their facilities and was told at signing time by Michele that I could get my deposit back for any reason. Then I was advised by my attorney not to move them there for legal reasons. I asked for a refund nearly 2.5 months ago and what should have been a quick refund to my card (which is the normal way cc transactions are refunded) has turned into a constant song and dance: they need to cut a check. I need to write a letter. I queried why I needed to write a formal letter when they already had a written request for a refund via email, they then said that that they didn't know which address I wanted the check sent to. I confirmed and after another month of waiting for the check it never arrived so I queried again. They said it was just cut that day. That was THREE WEEKS AGO AND COUNTING! Do not put your loved ones here. This is a real estate scheme more than a care home. UPDATE: I just called my bank to dispute the charges and was told that there was no real reason why my refund couldn't be processed the same way it was paid.
