Rating specifically for the food. My parents moved in here a few months ago and I’ve eaten with them several times. Food is a sub par disappointment. Cheap ingredients poorly prepared and often served cold. How you can scorch and dry out fried eggs is beyond me. Chocolate cake is so dry and hard you can’t cut it with a fork. I would have vetoed this place had I known it was this bad. It’s mostly edible but rarely enjoyed. Clean safe facility. Perhaps this review will encourage them to do something about it!

Carla gave us a tour for a potential independent living apartment for my mom and she made is feel so cared for and listened to. The entire area feels warm and inviting and friendly and each staff member we passed said hello and smiled. It is so nice to see there are communities like this available to the residents that need them and I’m forever grateful for the kindness that was shown to our family.

Except for on-going needs in the food services area, Sky Peaks has opened up new opportunities for me in Reno. I am hopeful changes to our meals will soon be made to make this a really special place that I can honestly call home.

Food is excellent, staff is helpful and friendly. Housekeeping is thorough and and do a great job. I have a 2 bedroom with a wraparound deck which I love. Kitchen staff is excellent and quick to serve. . The activities are plenty and fun.
