Great memory care facility. Silverado is all about preserving as much brain health as possible for as long as possible. Every staff member is trained in dementia care. There is a full-time social worker to help the families with whatever comes up. There is a nurse available 24/7. There are many varied activities for the residents that are all geared to stimulate brain health. They also take the residents on outings. Silverado's goal is to give their residents a sense of purpose as well as dignity as they journey through the stages of dementia. Silverado believes the families are a vital part of the care team and provide them with a Support Group, activities with their resident family member and events to help families build a supportive community and friendships with other families. The facility itself is clean and filled with light. The food is excellent and there are snacks provided at any time between meals . Residents are encouraged to spend most of their waking time in the engagement area rather than alone in their rooms. Physical Therapy is provided on site for those who can benefit from it. Staff is friendly and very caring. They keep their doors open so residents can come and sit with them anytime they feel the need. There are resident pets which are taken care of by a group of non-residents leaving the resident the responsibility of just loving them. I highly recommend Silverado of Frederick for your loved one.

Silverado is one of the most vibrant memory communities I’ve ever been in. As a health care professional I’ve been to a lot of memory care facilities in Frederick. Silverado always feels warm and happy when you enter. They have so many activities that truly engage and enhance the lives of their residents. They have a very proactive approach to memory care and it shows.

Silverado has an amazing leadership team and hard working, compassionate caregivers providing a safe as well as fun atmosphere for their residents to live a meaningful life!
