I can’t sing the praises of Silverado Beach Cities highly enough. Every staff member has been educated in memory care and treat the residents with dignity and respect. They offer a wide variety of engaging activities and experiences specifically designed to slow down memory loss, while making it fun. Life is celebrated at Silverado. Holidays (both big and small), birthdays, anniversaries and more are celebrated with delicious food and over the top festive decorations. The facilities are immaculate and well maintained. The staff is very approachable by family members regarding questions and concerns for their loved ones. I could go on and on, but most importantly my mom is happy living at Silverado. After sharing the caretaker roll with my brother, I am once again her daughter and it’s a joy!

From the my friends at front desk, to the maintenance and janitorial, to the caregivers and nurses on staff, it’s the people at Silverado that make this place special. Everyone within the walls of this building exhibits love, care, profound understanding of what memory care is, and most importantly, a familiar friendly face which has become our extended family. Those of us that have the privilege of having family members living within these walls sleep soundly every night knowing that our loved ones are experiencing the best care possible at the best place possible. I’m so grateful we chose Silverado Beach Cities Memory Care community for my father. From day one, the staff has treated him with patience, dignity, and genuine kindness. Between daily exercise programs, creative and cognitive enrichment activities, and truly excellent meals, there’s a real sense of purpose and routine here. The staff seems to find a reason to celebrate almost every day, whether it’s a resident’s birthday or something as delightfully random as National Popcorn Day - that joy is contagious and helps foster strong bonds among the residents. Communication with our family has been excellent. We’re kept informed, our questions are always welcomed, and it’s clear that the team truly cares about both residents and their families. The environment is warm, clean, and calm, with a genuine sense of community. The on-site nurses are top-notch, and I feel confident that my father is not only well cared for, but that I’ll be informed if there’s ever anything I need to know. Moving my father into memory care was one of the hardest things I've ever done, but the wonderful staff made our transition as comfortable as possible. These caregivers are gifts from God. What they gave us was not only comfort of knowing our dad was safe and well cared for but even moreso, they gave my brother and me joyful visits with our dad. We are left with happy memories, not the negative ones that were part of daily life before bringing him to Silverado.
