I recently toured Silverado Barton Springs Memory Care Community, and I was genuinely moved by the experience. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I could feel the warmth, compassion, and dedication that define this community. The administrator, Pat Yoesting, was incredibly welcoming and took the time to walk me through every aspect of the care they provide. Their passion for supporting individuals with memory challenges was evident in every interaction. They treat each resident with dignity, respect, and a deep sense of empathy that is both rare and inspiring. The facility itself is beautiful—bright, clean, and thoughtfully designed to feel like home. I was especially impressed by the engaging activities and personalized care plans that help residents stay connected, active, and fulfilled. It’s clear that Silverado goes above and beyond to create a nurturing environment where residents can thrive. What stood out most was the sense of community. Residents and staff all seemed to share a bond that felt more like family than anything else. A special highlight? The sweet four-legged resident pups who bring so much joy and comfort to everyone—they’re a beautiful part of the care experience If you’re looking for a memory care community that combines professionalism with heartfelt compassion, I can’t recommend Silverado Barton Springs highly enough.

Where Compassion Meets Excellence in Memory Care Earlier this year, my mother was transferred to Silverado Barton Springs after a difficult experience at another memory care facility. From the moment we arrived, the difference was profound. The level of care, compassion, and professionalism at Silverado is simply unmatched. From day one, Madison, Carrie, and Pat made the transition as smooth as possible—not just for my mother, but for our entire family. Their support instilled a sense of trust and peace we hadn’t felt in a long time. Every time I visit, I’m greeted with warmth and genuine smiles from staff throughout the community. The caregiver-to-resident ratio is what every family hopes for—ensuring truly personalized attention. Two team members in particular have made an indelible impact: Alma and Tanya. Alma is an angel. Her nurturing presence and open-hearted nature are evident in every interaction. She cares for my mother as if she were her own—with patience, kindness, and attentiveness that bring me comfort each day. Tanya was the first person I met upon arriving at Silverado. Her professionalism is only matched by her kindness. She communicates clearly and compassionately, always keeping me updated, and her bright demeanor brings a sense of ease and connection. In every corner of Silverado Barton Springs, there is a sense of dignity and joy. I can rest at night knowing my mother is surrounded by people who not only care for her—but truly care about her.

Silverado is a wonderful community! I have experienced several different communities and no place compares to the kindness and level of care that Silverado shows to their staff and residents. Caregivers, nursing staff, and faculty treat residents and family with the utmost respect and dignity. The facilities dedication to building community, ensuring cleanliness, and encouraging fun and memorable activities are several of the reasons that I would be happy to recommend any of my own family to live there. From the minute you walk through the front door and are greeted by Claudia, your loved one can easily feel at home here.

Silverado Barton Springs has been a lifeline for my family. We were so happy with care given to my mother, that we moved her sister there too. I can not say enough positive things about this facility and its staff. The staff are some of the most loving and caring people I have ever met. I know without a shadow of a doubt that my family members are cared for better than I could do; not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually as well. By the staff being the caregivers, I get to be the daughter and the niece.
