I'm so very gateful that we found Silverado Barton Springs!! The people are what makes Silverado special. The staff, caregivers, nurses are first-rate and treat our loved ones as they are their own. In the 9 months since mom has been there, I have grown to consider the residents, pets and staff as an extention of my own family. The Silverado approach to Dementia care is exceptional!

This is an amazing place to call home. Staff are committed to a shared vision and mission, and the nursing team is dedicated and the core team have served here for a long time --- they all deserve a bonus for being so intrinsically driven to meet each resident where they are at, even when sometimes these needs are hard to decipher. We relocated my mother to Silverado Barton Springs after having concerns about quality of care at a different nursing home in Austin. Moving her here was such a gift. She was well cared for by the staff and caretakers. Silverado did a great job providing not only her, but also our broader family, with community and support as we navigated her progression through Alzheimer's. We're still in contact with many of the staff and caretakers even after her passing earlier this year. We're so grateful for everything they did for my mother and my family.

I have no hesitation in recommending Silverado. They are known as the best here in Austin. Upon walking in you find a cozy home like environment with caregivers and staff who truly care about what they are doing. There's a reason that Silverado has been successful around the country. They do dementia care and they do it well.
