I can’t express how grateful we are to have found Shadow Mountain Memory Care for my Dad, Terry. The experience has exceeded our expectations, starting with the incredibly loving and caring leadership & staff who made our decision easy. The residents enjoy a variety of activities and daily entertainment, and my Dad especially loves the dancing and music. The facility is clean, fresh, and feels like a well-maintained boutique hotel. Shadow Mountain is truly a special place with special people, and we couldn’t be more relieved and happy to have found this wonderful home for my Dad.

Moving both of my parents into memory care was one of the hardest decisions our family has had to make, but choosing Shadow Mountain Memory Care has brought us so much peace of mind. The level of engagement and joy they create for residents is truly remarkable. There is phenomenal entertainment—live music most days, arts and crafts, games like cornhole, and even fresh popcorn. What stands out most is how the activities team turns these moments into real experiences. Live music often becomes a full dance party, with both residents and staff singing and dancing together. It’s uplifting to see that kind of energy and genuine connection. The staff across the board is exceptional. The caregivers are incredibly hardworking, kind, and trustworthy. They take great care to ensure residents are clean, comfortable, and treated with dignity. The nurses are equally wonderful—having medical professionals available at all times gives our family tremendous reassurance. The leadership team and directors are approachable, responsive, and truly care about the well-being of every resident. Any questions or concerns we’ve had have been handled quickly and thoughtfully. It’s clear they are committed to making this a comfortable and positive place to live. The facility itself is always clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. The patios are beautiful, and the great room is bright and inviting—a place where people genuinely enjoy spending time together. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by friendly, knowledgeable staff at the front desk who are always ready to help. One unexpected blessing has been the monthly family support group. It’s thoughtfully hosted with food and beverages, and it has created a sense of community among families who truly understand what each other is going through. Most importantly, I know my parents are safe, cared for, and surrounded by people who genuinely care about them. That peace of mind is priceless. I am deeply grateful for Shadow Mountain Memory Care and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a compassionate, engaging, and well-run memory care community.

If you are looking for the perfect place for your loved one who is aging with memory issues look no further. Shadow Mountain has been a godsend to me and my 92-year-old dad. The staff is amazing the culture is one of care and love, each and every person I have encountered here excels in their position. From Caregivers to Administration to Food Service and everyone in between, these people are amazing. My Dad has never been happier and more important healthier than he has been in a long time. He is engaged in activities with encouragement from the team that are age and gender appropriate for his place in this journey. Shadow Mountain is always immaculate and maintained beautifully to create the inviting atmosphere that has allowed my Dad to thrive. Shadow Mountain supports the entire family with gatherings for family to share experiences. I encourage anyone to plan ahead for your loved one and visit Shadow Mountain today. My husband, Mike has only been a resident at Shadow Mountain for about a month. It was a very difficult decision to place him in a Memory Care facility, but it was the Best decision that I’ve made. He’s only been there a few weeks and he has Exceeded my expectations in acclimating to his new environment. I am so impressed with the care that he is getting. Every time I go, there is a large group of residents being engaged in some kind of an activity like arts and crafts, games, exercises, and most of all singing and dancing and generally having a good time socializing with other residents and being stimulated in a happy environment. The entire facility has a very warm and comforting, feeling Like living at a resort! I feel that I made the right decision finding the Best place for my loved one! And I feel at peace within myself that it is the best thing for him and me at this time. Gloria and Misty have been amazing administrators who are actively involved with the residents and make them feel like they are part of a big family. Thank you for all you do!
