Assisted living facilities offer personalized care plans and social activities that promote quality of life for their residents.

Memory Care

Memory care communities offer specialized care and support for individuals dealing with memory-related conditions, such as Alzheimer’s or dementia. These facilities are equipped with trained staff and offer engaging activities designed to promote well-being while ensuring a safe living environment.

Respite Care

Respite care is short-term or temporary care. Respite care can be provided in adult day centers, in private homes via home health agencies and in senior living communities, most often assisted living or skilled nursing facilities.

I have placed my husband who has dementia in their Memory Care facility. I am pleased with their support and care for my husband. Always daily letting me know how my husband is doing even when he is struggling they are so caring and try many different things to make him comfortable. The food is excellent the kitchen prepares for Memory Care and apartment clients. We are very lucky to have Settlers Park in Baker City. It is wonderful to be able to trust Settlers with your love one.

Unprofessional Conduct of Settlers Park Memory Care Center - STAY AWAY!!!! I am writing to file a formal complaint against Settlers Park Memory Care Center for their unprofessional conduct and lack of communication. Despite numerous attempts to contact the facility over the course of a month and a half, I was met with consistent unresponsiveness and excuses. My efforts to reach out to contacts Seth and Rodger were repeatedly thwarted by claims that they were in meetings or otherwise unavailable. It was not until my case manager intervened that I discovered the shocking truth - Settler’s Park had wrong information about my mother and had made the decision not to admit her without informing me. Had the staff at Settlers Park displayed even a modicum of decency and professionalism, they would have communicated this crucial information to me, allowing me the opportunity to correct any misinformation. Instead, their negligence has left me in a difficult situation, scrambling to find an alternative memory care center for my mother. I am deeply disappointed by the lack of transparency and accountability demonstrated by Settler’s Park Memory Care Center. I caution others to steer clear of this facility, as their unprofessional behavior and disregard for the well-being of residents and their families are clear indicators of their incompetence. And most recently, Deanne, had also called offering to maybe do a re-evaluation, she also ducked my calls when I tried returning her missed call. I gave up on her after a week. So I hope with feedback on Google will help you make your determination not to choose Settler’s. I was warned not to go there. I wish I would have listened. It would have saved me some heartache and time.

Horrible! my mom told me that there's only one staff there on most nights I'm scared she will fall and no one will see! Take your business elsewhere!

The employees are just people of the street with no training to be had. They work with the dementia patients and have no patients. The food was not very good. I was surprised by how they where feeding dementia patients hot dogs. Number one chocking hazardous food. if the people don't make it to meals then they just miss the meal altogether. They only check unders every few hours. So plan for your loved one to sit in there own for 2 hours. The other side of the place is more open older people wother out dementia they go and about. Have games and social times. Would give a better rating if they took better care of the dementia floor.
