Sentry Hill is a lovely community that boasts very independent living but also high levels of care if seniors advance. Their staff longevity is amazing and they are truly called to care for their residents. Every time I visit with my clients, the community is spotless and the staff and residents look engaged, comfortable and happy. Beth, the Admissions Director, is so caring with my clients and their families on tours. This community is worth a look if you are considering senior living for yourself or a loved one.

Do not send your loved ones here!!! Horrible place! Threw my father out without warning when asked where do we bring him their response was “bring him to the emergency room” he didn’t need emergency care he needed long term memory loss care. Visited him one day. Had no socks and one shoe on! On another occasion my father said he hadn’t eaten lunch. I asked the nurse about it and she responded that he never showed up for lunch. Well geez. He is sick and doesn’t know when or where lunch is!!! They dont care one bit about their patients. One big money grab! Don’t do it to your loved ones!!!

As Senior Living Advisors we have had the wonderful opportunity to partner with Sentry Hill at York Harbor. The atmosphere and the care staff are great! For over 8 years we have had the pleasure to meet the staff and we have worked closely with Beth Verity. Her knowledge and compassion for every senior she assists is outstanding.
