Our Assisted Living offers 26 private suites, which includes attached patio access. Samaritan Care Center and Villa also provides your loved one with the opportunity to interact with peers through day-to-day relations, planned activities, and events. Residents can focus on socializing, having fun, and building relationships while still feeling at ease knowing support is available if needed. While still valuing the independence of our residents, we always want to assist them in living their most comfortable lives.
Skilled and Intermediate Nursing Care
All residents are provided daily nursing services that are directed by physician’s orders and treatment plans.
Skilled nursing provides short-term care to residents focused on recovery and rehabilitation so they can return to their normal lives as quickly as possible. These services are often utilized during recuperation from serious health issues and are not able to be cared for at home.
Intermediate care is utilized for residents who do not require daily medical treatment but are unable to sufficiently care for themselves at home. This option provides light nursing care and assistance with daily activities. This is often the type of care that is pursued when looking for a balance of independence with an appropriate level of care, found in nursing homes.

My wife was admitted here to get some physical therapy work done. She's been here now for a total of 8 days. Long enough for me to come up with the following conclusion. Its a GREAT facility! This is the smaller 200 bed unit at 806 E. Washington. In a world where nursing homes are known to not possibly care less about their patients and you read and hear about failures constantly, this place is a shining star in the sky amongst all the other fading stars. I felt like she was safe and WELL cared for at all times and you're listening to an EXTREMELY overprotective Italian, so to get the green light and praise for such an Institution is a rarity for me! Everyone has done a spectacular job, but special shout out to Janice Gibson. She's a straight talker and a straight shooter. Articulate to the core and doesn't beat around the bush. Something you need when its concerning the health of a loved one!

Thay need equipment such as leg exersize mechine personal rehab equipment for strengthening wile in there room or in the dining room and ice packs there only 1 and if more than 1 need it its gotta get hunted down and waited on and also more healty voriotys of snacks and hydration thank you even to reach out for help from local churches love the church services and activities food was good ,I'm just a health nutt could have been more verity of fresh fruit veg. Realy love you all thank you so much my friend was baptized there and God bless you all come to church some time there's a service and meal each Sunday at freedom in truth church in akron abby is the masters wife and paster her self . Holy sperit anointed church truly in the presence of God so come give him the glory.

This facility has the most caring employees. They go above and beyond for their families and patients. Everyone always has a smile on their face. Tara and Amy do a fantastic job with their clinical staff. They’re very knowledgeable and treat everyone like family. As a third party service we have seen this facility take GREAT care of their patients as well as the patients we share. You cannot go wrong choosing this facility to place your loved one. The care they will receive will exceed your expectations!!

I want to thank the staff here. They were very good to my dad when he was here. I know he was not easy to deal with. I want to thank you all so much for taking such good care of him.😊 the workers were very nice and friendly. Always clean. I was very well pleased with this place.
