What a beautiful facility! The staff was friendly and courteous. The residents were were very friendly. Almost all of the residents wanted to visit with Ivy, my golden retriever who’s is with Project Pup. Lots of smiling faces as we spread Christmas cheer.

The staff does a great job with my dad. He has grown to like seeing them and talking with them which I thought would never happen! “My dad is a little on the tough side”. The only thing I would like a little more of is communication. Other than that I feel blessed that my dad is in a wonderful place with good people taking care of him. Thank you to the staff as I am extremely grateful for all of you❤️ Tammy Nadeau

Very compassionate and caring on top of both of my parents health. Had a few bumps in the beginning, but they were prompt to fix them. Very grateful for Elizabeth and Jalisa the best nurses you could ever ask for . The doctor Jessica was absolutely amazing. Would never think of putting them anywhere else.

I chose this facility for my elderly friend with dementia who was relocated from another nursing home after it was flooded by hurricane Helene. Carolynn was put in the memory care section of the nursing home. It looks like many of the residents were being taken care of and involved in activities. There was beautiful piano music in the lobby and I was told it was once a week. I met many great staff mostly who are CNAs. The one person who concerned me the most was the daytime head nurse for the memory Care unit whose name was Debby. In addition to the fact that I never saw her smile, she just seemed tired and not very empathetic to the cause of anyone elderly. The day after I admitted Carolynn, she was already rolling her eyes and within a few weeks giving me reports that Carolynn was nearing the end of her life. Also, I was called by the Rose palliative care program that we should put Carolynn on morphine. I was told that she was not eating and in constant intense pain. I took off a few days to spend time with her and none of that seemed to be true so I removed her to a hospital nearby. It turns out she had gangrene in her foot that had progressed to osteomyelitis. I was not made aware of this. Anyway, just Google the name "Carolynn Daye" and you can read more about my experience at Sabal Palms Her Caringbridge journal will likely be in your search results.
