Care

Assisted Living

A living option for seniors or individuals who require assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, or medication management while maintaining a level of independence. Assisted living facilities offer personalized care plans and social activities that promote quality of life for their residents.

Independent Living

Designed to help older adults who want to maintain an active and independent lifestyle, these communities offer services and amenities that cater to residents’ needs, while encouraging a sense of community and freedom from the responsibilities of owning a home.

Memory Care

Memory care communities offer specialized care and support for individuals dealing with memory-related conditions, such as Alzheimer’s or dementia. These facilities are equipped with trained staff and offer engaging activities designed to promote well-being while ensuring a safe living environment.

Life Plan/CCRCs

Also referred to as Life Plan Communities, these communities offer a comprehensive continuum of care for residents. CCRCs offer multiple levels of care, allowing seniors to transition between independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing care as their needs change throughout their aging journey.

Respite Care

Respite care is short-term or temporary care. Respite care can be provided in adult day centers, in private homes via home health agencies and in senior living communities, most often assisted living or skilled nursing facilities.

Skilled Nursing

Skilled nursing and nursing homes are residential facilities that offer medical care and support for individuals that require a higher level of medical attention and assistance. These are staffed by licensed healthcare providers and offer a range of services to ensure the well-being and comfort of residents.

Neighborhood

Pulling from a variety of reliable data sources, Walk Score® measures the walkability of any address, helping you understand how easy it is to live a car-free lifestyle. Transit Score®, when available, measures how well a location is served by public transit. Scores range from 0 to 100, with higher scores indicating more amenities within walking distance and diverse transit options nearby.

Rosewood's impeccable reputation is well earned and deserved. From the application process through move in, and assistance with my Dad's transition from Assisted Living into Memory Care, our family is so appreciative of the Rosewood experience. We naively thought our 93 year old Dad would be able to "bounce back" from recent surgery. The Rehab staff at Rosewood got him back on his feet, but age caught up with him in Assisted Living. The team gracefully and patiently guided us to Memory Care and eventually to hospice services. I cannot express our gratitude for the blessings of the Rosewood community and services.

Meals and Rooms are great but I thought the personal care was somewhat lacking I've only dealt with assisted living once before with my Grandmother and it was night and day compared to Rosewood. I'm not saying Rosewood is bad, just seems, like everything else, there's no real love real going out of your way to do good things. With grandma the attendants were empathetic and would go out of their way to make grams happy. My mother at Rosewood isn't treated like she's important but maybe that's something available any longer. Like I couldn't get in touch with Mom for 4 days where my brother drove down ( I live five hours away with severely handicapped wife) making visits difficult so of course I feel guilty and worry. When I couldn't get in touch with Mom or Rosewoods' second floor I was concerned but after many calls throughout 3 days my brother went out there. They forgot to write down the message.

Families should know that if their loved one is in the memory care unit and their condition starts to worsen that Rosewood may not be able to accommodate them. My loved one had a relatively minor illness that was diagnosed after an emergency ride to the hospital. She spent longer than necessary in the hospital due to this which only made everything about her condition worse. It was in my loved ones best interest to quickly move her from this facility. The memory care unit is small and only handles higher functioning stages of memory care. While I absolutely loved some of the staff, I can only give the memory care unit two stars for not being up front about their ability to accommodate less than perfect dementia patients and patients in decline. Families should know this when they move their loved one to the memory care unit that it may not be for long and they may have to move them again. I thought it in my loved one's best interest to move her out of Rosewood and into to another facility. Her improvement was immediate and the care at the new facility was much more supportive and conducive to her happiness. .

I only gave a second star because the Occupational Therapist and Physical Therapist were great with my mother, following hip surgery. DO NOT send your loved one to Rosewood Skilled Nursing!! My mother is not incontinent. When she was admitted for rehab,we told everybody who touched her that she will not pee in the bed, whether on a bed pan or in a diaper. We repeated many times to assist her to the toilet. We received a phone call on the 3rd day that she was there that her belly was distended because she had held her pee so long,so they inserted a Foley catheter!! Not one person had gotten her up to the toilet!! As a result, she acquired a severe bacterial UTI . She was admitted to the hospital where it took several days on antibiotics to clear it up. The hospital staff, along with the family, were appauled that Rosewood had put a diaper on a person who is not incontinent!! Please,DO NOT send your loved one to Rosewood Skilled Nursing Facility!!
