My heart was broken today to come to see my grandpa and he had been moved by his wife. After finding out she had filed a 30 day notice we asked to be kept in the loop about whether or not he had been or was going to be moved. We were ghosted by the director Amie and thought we could trust her. It is sad to know we were wrong. We went to see my grandpa nearly every day even while we are a busy home. The saddest part is that we cannot go see him as we do not know where he was moved and the rest of the family does not communicate with us well. His wife has bipolar and is off her meds. The family has somehow been convinced that she is telling the truth about many things however the truth is that she has been lying to them and us about many things. It is sad that the service that we have gotten is poor. During our first few visits we had very high hopes and they were not fulfilled. I do not recommend this place to anyone who wants clear communication. I also do not recommend this place to anyone who has family who does not want to communicate because of the fact that the staff themselves will not communicate clearly with you as well so there will be no way of getting around communication flaws.

My family had experience with both assisted care and memory care. There are some pleasant individuals there, but often there time is spent gossiping instead of checking on the living conditions of the residence. Often my family member was soiled and care to the room and toilet needed to be addressed. I would sometimes go home and come back a daily later to see if the cleanliness was addressed. It wasn’t. The food is way below standards as if they think memory care patience don’t have taste buds. The food was no better than lunch room food, greasy and a day old from the looks of it. I encouraged my family to eat, but I wouldn’t touch the stuff. I really wanted to like the place. The friendliness did not roll over to the great care I was hoping for.

A huge shout out to Executive Director Amie and Wellness Director Karen for stepping in and assisting our resident with professionalism and dignity when a situation became overwhelming. The genteel manner we observed was comforting and reassuring. Sadly, not all employees interact in this way but we are thankful for these two in this instance.

You are greeted with a warm smile by the Receptionist at the front desk when you sign in! There’s nothing like a friendly face when you enter someone’s home or office of business! I especially love seeing the residents get to experience expressing their artistic abilities with the projects TJ and Belinda have them doing! Their artwork shows their individual interpretations- it is wonderful to engage the mind and spirit! Kudos to this dynamic duo!
