I couldn’t be happier. My one bedroom apartment is spacious with a large balcony, bright and comfortable. The staff is awesome. Very kind, courteous and ready to help when needed. They’re open to suggestions and implement change when they can. A perfect place to call home.

My Mother lived at the Rock Creek Holiday Independent retirement home for aprox 5 years. She loved it there up until Atria took over ownership. Everything changed for the worse. The quality of customer service went down so significantly that she and over 20 other residents moved and went elsewhere. Don't be fooled by the shiny remodel. Yes, it looks really nice! We found that there are other places out there that may not be freshly remodeled, but the quality of life is so much better. It was not an easy move at age 89 but my Mother is so much happier leaving Rock Creek. The Atria Senior management was also terrible to work with. Based on our experience we would never use an Atria facility again.

Initially, I did not want to be in a situation where I felt like garbage. Rock Creek was my first experience with retirement living and I didn't know what to expect. I was told meals were included in the rent. Suffice to say, that particularly in the last few months I lived there, food was such cheap quality that I would not have purchased it individually. I lived there for 11 years and had issues with the toilet being clogged. I was humiliated and the General Manager at the time said not to be embarrassed, but I was constantly. There was no storage, the sink was something that would have been installed at a wet bar, not for residential use. The mini fridge was too small for my groceries as I was starting to fix my own meals. There are other places that are more reasonable, accommodating, and food is eatable.

Food service is not very timely, how about allowing us to order our food though a web page using our cell phones or i pads once we have read the menu, i understand that you had a system previously. I informed Atria that Portland general electic will place solar panels on the roof for free, this would greatly increase your profits as all electricity would be free. It would also increase the electical production need for our local grid which will be need when we switch to all electic vehicles in 2035. The use of natural gas should be eliminated as soon as possible to reduce global warming, you need to do your part too.
