Been living here for two years. Management and staff are all very knowledgeable and go above and beyond to ensure all my needs and wants are met. The facility is clean and home like. I toured a couple of different ones before choosing River Mist and have not regretted my decission. There is a sidewalk around the building so we can get outside and safely walk. Meals are great, if we don't like what they are serving for lunch or supper we can order off of a menu. Breakfast is order whatever you want from waffles, pancakes,biscuits n gravy, eggs, sausage,bacon ,toast, or even oatmeal. The family nights are great, they cook for our family, and allow us to have that special time with them. I would highly recommend River Mist for anyone looking for assisted living.

This facility is amazing! I definitely give them a five out of five for multiple reasons. The staff is caring and hardworking. Each family event they did was an unforgettable time. They build community with bingo, exercise, and seasonal activities. There was comfort knowing someone could assist my grandmother with proper medication management. Sheryl Mahy also pulled every available financial resource to help ease burdens. Their past Clinical Director, Valerie, went over and beyond to help ensure my grandmother’s safety. The common areas are clean and relaxing to spend time there with your family members.

This is an EXCELLENT facility! The residents seem very happy when I visit my patients as a hospice nurse and Peyton and Frankie are great administration/nursing that truly care about the wellbeing of their residents and make sure their care is top notch!

The most caring attentive facility I’ve never had experience with. They truly put the residence first and the health and wellness director is the best i’ve ever dealt with.
