Redwood Heights by Cogir

I recently had the opportunity to tour Redwood Heights, and left feeling truly impressed. Kris was exceptional! She asked thoughtful questions about my dad’s likes, interests and needs. She explained how important it is to the staff that residents feel at home at Redwood. I could see this firsthand by the interaction between staff and residents as we walked around. It’s reassuring to know there are people like Kris who are so dedicated to supporting seniors with dignity and kindness. And a bonus was lunch with a wonderful group of veterans!!

This facility is simply amazing! The staff is wonderful, caring, kind, compassionate, and eager to help. The food is great, the facility is very clean. I would give a 100% recommendation to anyone looking to provide their loved one with an assisted living environment. I've been in numerous facilities over the last 10 yrs and NONE even come close to Redwood Heights.

Kris was absolutely wonderful! She gave us a tour and was so kind and caring. The facility was very clean and the staff were personable and friendly. The residents that I saw seemed happy and were approachable as well. There seems to be a lot of resident involvement for activities. Priced about the same as other places nearby- I am sad that they don’t take Medicaid spend down (which means that after you spend your money in your bank you would have to move). I would definitely recommend checking this place out if you are able to pay privately. She did give us a good recommendation that does accept Medicaid spend down and we are moving my family to that place - so we are so very grateful for her great recommendation as well!

I previously left a review noting how great it was that the facility hosted an estate planning presentation for residents. Since then, I’ve called multiple times to ask when the next presentation will be scheduled, as a family friend of mine who lives there is very interested in hearing from the same attorney again. Unfortunately, I haven’t received a response. I still think these presentations are incredibly valuable and hope the facility continues offering them—but better communication around scheduling and follow-up would go a long way. I’d really appreciate an update on whether another estate planning presentation is planned. Could you please let me know when there will be another presentation?
