My mother has been a resident at Primrose in Jefferson City for a couple of years or so. During those years we have navigated several ups and downs with her health and felt tremendous support from the nursing staff the entire time she’s been there. The Director of Nursing is amazing and has built relationships of trust, love, and caring with the assisted living residents. The nursing staff always makes me feel confident that Mom is well cared for and is safe. They are respectful and helpful, and also work to build those positive relationships with the residents that makes Primrose feel like a family. It hasn’t always been perfect but it was for the first year of Mom’s time there, and seems to be back to being the Primrose we knew and loved at the beginning. I’m grateful they have a corporate entity that keeps a watchful eye on things and makes changes so they can remain the best facility in town. I truly appreciate knowing Mom has a lovely, clean, and positively staffed place to call home.

I wanted to share my experience with Primrose in Jefferson City and the care of my mother. She had lived in their assisted living for the past four years and was well cared for during this time. It was at mom’s end of life where they really shined. D.O.N. Carolina is the one who made sure my wife and I were there when things weren’t looking good for mom. She stayed with us the entire night while we were bedside and made sure mom was comfortable and pain free. Carolina and all of her staff were absolutely wonderful to my mom, my wife, and me. I cannot express enough my appreciation to Primrose for making mom’s final hours those of care, compassion and love.

My mother moved here to the assisted living section last December. This was the first chance I had to visit (we live very far away). I was comforted to know she was living in such a nice clean and caring community! The staff were all friendly and they genuinely seemed to care about each resident. It was clean and comfortable. We stayed in the guest room located in the building and it was also clean and comfortable. The food was good. We enjoyed the Friday Happy Hour and entertainment. My shoulders felt lighter leaving, knowing that she was in such a great place. Thank you to everyone there!

My wife and I toured the Jefferson City Primrose Retirement Community during an Open House in late 2023 and immediately knew it was the perfect place for my mom. The property is immaculate inside and out; the staff is skilled and so very friendly to the residents and their family members; the food is delicious with so many options; and the amenities are tremendous from the organized activities to the fitness center, the chapel, the movie theater and so much more!
