Early in 2022, we were faced with moving our mom out of her home of 28 years. A difficult task even in the most ordinary of circumstances. When our initial choice didn't match the needs of our mom, as she required care on a full time basis rather than on an independent living basis, we were faced with finding an assisted living facility remotely. Myself and her son live in the UK and the other sibling taking responsibility for her care lives out of state. With the help of an agency, we all met remotely on zoom with four facilities and Arbor Place came top of the list - because it met various criteria we were looking for but also because their ethos is "we like to treat our residents like you would like to treat your own mom and dad". After the zoom call, we had a follow-up meeting and went through care packages - the result of which we came out with a cost effective well managed option. Then within a week our loved one was moved into Arbor Place. There were a few integration issues which are to be expected when your mom is 86 years old and has health issues. But now having travelled to the States to visit her and see Arbor Place in person, we have absolutely no doubt we as a family made the 100pc right choice. She has a beautiful spacious one bed apartment, access to 3 substantial meals per day in a very nice dining area, housekeeping of a high standard - the room smelt so fresh and clean every time we visited - and kind, caring staff with access to medical teams as required. The communal areas/lounges are clean and welcoming. It is very much a family environment with the personal touch. Erica, the director, has transformed the facility into one to be proud of. Special mention to Ken McLean who we dealt with in the initial stages and who continues to offer support to us from a distance.

My mom had been my dads primary care giver for years as my dad has mild dementia and can not deal with cooking, cleaning, etc.. I live in Colorado and so when my mom became ill unexpectedly and then passed I had to find someone quickly to look after my father. Denise at the Arbor Place was amazing. I can not begin to say how much him and his staff helped not only my father to get through this hard time, but they also provided me with much needed help and support. We could not have done it without Denise and his entire staff. I am moving my dad from Oregon to Colorado so he can be closer to me and the hardest thing about the move is the uncertainty if his new place here will be as good as the Arbor Place. Thank you for everything.

My parents moved into Arbor Place in February. My father was in Hospice care. The staff made a very stressful situation much easier. My father passed and the staff looks out for mom and is helping her cope with her loss. She loves the people, staff, and amenities. We would recommend it to anyone who wants their love one in a caring, top notch assisted living home. Arbor Place gives my family real peace of mind.

Arbor Place was an answer to prayers when we needed somewhere for my Father-in-law to stay on short notice. The staff was very helpful and went above and beyond to make his move in as smooth as possible. They are friendly, take time to get to know the residents, and treat them with respect. The facility is clean and beautifully decorated. The meals are delicious and nutritious. I couldn't ask for a better place for my Father-in-law to stay during his recovery.
