Peregrine Senior Living at Guilderland

I highly recommend Peregrine Senior Living at Guilderland and especially Madeline Forman. I work with them professionally and we often refer families to each other based on the level of care that best fits their needs. Madeline is incredibly professional, compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly cares about the families she works with. She does a fantastic job communicating and helping guide people through what can often be a difficult transition. The team at Peregrine Guilderland provides excellent assisted living and memory care services, and it’s been a pleasure building such a strong professional relationship with them. I would confidently recommend Madeline and Peregrine to any family looking for quality senior care and support.

I am a musician who was invited to entertain and share music and fun with the residents at Peregrine Guilderland. I regularly visit MANY Capital Area senior living sites; my parents also lived at two in recent years... so I am very familiar with many senior "homes" locally. During my three visits, I found the Peregrine Guilderland staff to be welcoming. They showed caring and attentive behavior to the residents. The residence was clean, cheery and comfortable. I also noticed that the residents were a "community"... they chatted with each other, saved seats for "friends"; friendliness was the norm. I also noticed that the memory care residents were treated with respect and kindliness. If you are considering senior housing for yourself or a loved one, Peregrine Guilderland would be a good place to consider.

When my mom moved into Peregrine a few years ago, we hoped for a safe environment— but we found a true community. The stability at Peregrine is worth noting; many of the staff in leadership positions have been there since long before she arrived, creating a culture of continuity and genuine care. That 'family feel' shows up in the small details, like the dining staff always remembering her favorite orders and the nurses who keep us updated with such thoughtfulness. The staff are responsive and my Mom speaks highly of everone. Aging can be isolating and hard - aging at Peregrine is an opportunity to stay involved in community and make the process easier-even joyful. I am very grateful for the daily kindness and peace of mind Peregrine provides to our family.

My father has been at Peregrine since the beginning of October, 2025. He absolutely loves it. The food is excellent as evidenced by my father regaining weight he had lost and the staff and residents are very friendly. Our family especially loves the activities department which has weekly trips to area restaurants, shopping or events and have a variety of activities including exercises, music events and games throughout the day. They even had a special birthday party for him which included family and residents. I highly recommend Peregrine!
