Park Terrace Health Campus

We recently needed a skilled nursing facility and memory care for my mother. We found Park Terrace with help from KY Elder Law and are so grateful for this facility. Emily Wheatley was our contact to enter my mom in the facility for memory care and she is truly dynamic. We just can't praise it enough. Everyone took time to ask questions about my mom, to find out who she is, what she likes and how to know her! Everyone we have encountered from cleaning people, nurses and more have been caring, kind and thoughtful to us and my mother. It's a great place! We are grateful

The nurse director Theresa and the tour guide Emily both took their time to re assure me and my wife that my grandfather who has a brain tumor would be good about watching after him and good about keeping an eye out for certain things..he was admitted Thursday and was in the er by Monday! Over 3 days I never saw a nurse but once when an aid didn’t want my help moving my grandad from bed to chair. They left him in bed all weekend in pissy briefs. He has a pressure wound on his right hip that is to be never left open (with out a bandage on it). Me and my wife had a sit down and was very thorough with the nurse director about how we take his care seriously because earlier that same day somebody came in and didn’t do the new procedure correctly very poor for a open wound. She fed us lies about how she will make sure the nurses are on top of his wound. Next day me and my wife come in and he doesn’t even have a bandage on it. The ems came and couldn’t even get report on my grandad the PRP ems had to get the report from me. Why you may ask ? because his nurse didn’t know what to say to them, the amount of negligence is absurd. Do not send your loved ones here they don’t help them do anything. They don’t care they charge you on weekends and half the aids claim it’s their first day. Last but not least we printed off the chart of meds that was last given and there’s a med he shouldn’t have had. They claimed it was a mistake. For every nurse out there if you charted it you did it ! If you didn’t chart it and say you did well evidence shows you didn’t. So here we are in the er trying to figure out the problem mean while Theresa and Emily are ghosts. Pathetic place I will boycott this place forever.

Let me start by saying the staff is incredible! The doctors, nurse, aids, therapy, cleaning crew down to the kitchen staff and office ladies. Every single person I interacted with was so kind and caring. I would recommend Park Terrace to anyone .

Is one of the most horrible places my family and I had ever been in to. Our mom stayed in this rat hole for two weeks. Was absolutely terrible. The room was infested with lady bugs. The staff were lazy and completely useless. Food were terrible and the staff for that were lazy. Do not send your parent or loved one here. If you do you will absolutely regret it. And you won't forget it because the file stinch will stick to your nose and clothing.
