My mother moved in last week and already the staff have been such a blessing in solving a few challenges, quickly making adjustments, and moving her in as quickly as they could when we needed it. Robyn and Kellie have been such kind and respectful staff, helping Mom integrate to her new home in only a week! They are responsive and caring. I visited Mom today and she was glowing! She loved the musical guest performance in the living room and was hugging her new friends like it was a sorority! I’ve never seen her so happy in the last year of her end stage Alzheimer’s as she is now and I’m blown away! This was better than we expected! Ok enough praises, let’s talk about amenities. Mom has her own room with just enough space if she needed a wheelchair, nice fully equipped bathroom with bench in shower for aided bathing, mini fridge, closet, and the Spectrum TV guy installed her internet and TV the same day we moved her furniture in. Even he was nice! They have a bunch of amenities at Valeo (memory care side) and safe doors with security. They have a daily event calendar with crafts, games, live music, and movie nights just to name a few. There are several common areas as well as a few small semi private living rooms with TVs, an extra kitchen and dining room for families, and a big hall with dining tables, a cozy fireplace, TV, piano, etc. I’ve seen a remarkable improvement in my Mom since we moved her in just a week ago. This is the place you want your parents to go! Honest pricing (Cedarhurst of Wentzville tried to screw us over at the last minute, but this place has full transparency in pricing and saved the day)! Caring staff, great fun for residents, and they really do a great job keeping the place nice looking. Thank you for taking better care of Mom than even we could! Thank you for loving her like family! 💕

I have a loved one in Memory Care and it is an absolute disorganized mess!! They continue to add residents who are very high needs and they do NOT have enough staff to accommodate these poor residents. They have nursing staff serving meals, which is extremely unsanitary. These poor residents often wait up to an hour to be fed. This obviously doesn’t work out well because they can’t remember if they ate or not so they often leave the dining room thinking they already ate and do not get fed. Many residents have been sent to the hospital for falling and not being found for hours. The “entertainment crew” does a great job at putting on a movie for them to watch and then leaving the room. Upper management has no idea what is going on because they are never around to witness the chaos. I cannot speak to the other departments at this facility, but if you are thinking about putting your loved one in memory care, stay far away!

What an exceptional place! The staff goes above and beyond for the care of their residents (we specifically want to shout out Robyn, Renee- in PT, and Courtney- with AW). These ladies went avove and beyond even working with us after normal business hours and answering endless questions. My mother stayed in the independent living side and we couldn't say enough great things about her/our experience there. The rooms are spacious and clean, some even have a balcony to get some fresh air. There are many food choices for each meal along with daily activities and tasks. I would always see residents out and about in different parts of the building and they all seemed to be enjoying themselves. If your looking for a place for a loved one, this is the place!

We had a pleasant visit with our sister in law. Our nephew, his husband and our great nephew were there too. The nurses checked in on our sister in law as they always do.
